The left headphone doesn't charge half the time, and the other half it activates the bluetooth and kills the battery. Sounds quality, noise quality and design aside from this are great, but arriving somewhere with these dead is the most frustrating thing.

We value your input and appreciate the feedback regarding the left earbud not charging properly. We’d love to help you troubleshoot your problem. If the left earbud does not charge properly, wipe the charging terminals on the headset and charging case with a dry soft cloth (such as those used for eyeglasses).
• We recommend that you regularly clean the terminals for good charging connections.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow...I can't even fathom words for how disappointing the experience has been with these "true wireless buds"...out of the box the right bud constantly dropped connection. My thoughts being as they were out of date is "Hey, maybe a software bug is present with this version of the firmware (2.0.3)", but boy was I wrong. After attempting to update these earbuds 3 separate times the software update made it to a maximum of 76% before ultimately disconnecting due to the right bud dropping out. Sony...do better. This is absolutely ridiculous and to be quite honest, embarrassing. These buds are worse than the 1st gen Samsung Buds I have and you can get the Samsung's for almost $200 less. I am going to give these the benefit of the doubt and perform a replacement, but if the next set has literally 1 issue out of the box I will seek a different set of high end buds and see if Sony's 2nd iteration of these (if that actually happens) is better.

So I gave these a try. The sound is excellent for music. It was very easy to setup. However they were not a good fit for my ear anatomy. Also I tried to use it as a headset to answer phone calls and they did not fare very well. For these reasons, I decided to return them

Thank you for the feedback on your experience with your WF-1000XM3. We're sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with the headphones. We appreciate your feedback regarding the connectivity of this WF-1000XM3. The WF-1000XM3 has a new Bluetooth chip and an optimized antenna design to provide a stable connection for hours of wireless streaming.
The communication between the devices will be poor if there is an obstruction between the unit and the connected device. As a suggestion, to ensure you get the best Bluetooth connection, you may try setting the Bluetooth Connection Mode to “Priority on stable connection” (via Sony Headphones Connect app), and see if it resolves the problem. Also, check that the headphones are running on the latest firmware version. The software includes key features, applications, bug fixes, and feature improvements.
