Thank you for purchasing the WF-1000XM3 Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones.
We regret to hear that you are having issues with your wireless headphones. This is not the experience we want you to have. The WF-1000XM3 comes with different sizes of earbuds to ensure there is a great fit for all ear sizes and an optimal noise canceling experience. Please use the right size according to the size of your ears. When wearing them, please gently pull on the top of your ear as you twist the earbud into your ear. This should give you a firmer hold and better noise canceling experience.
You can use these headphones without installing an app, however to get the most out of your WF-1000XM3, there is a downloadable Sony Headphones Connect app that allows you to customize different functions and the equalizer settings are stored within the app and device where it is installed.

I’ve never had problems with my jbl products nor beats nor apple products. I tried resetting my phone and all. I really wanted these things to be awesome after all the positive reviews I read. I have iPhone 11. I’ll be returning as soon as I get back into town.

When you pair a second or subsequent device (e.g. your iPad), put the headset in both ears, then hold your fingers to the touch sensors on both the left and right units for about 7 seconds. Hope this helps! If you haven’t already, download the Sony - Headphones Connect APP. This will give you the ability to use our ASC( Adaptive Sound Control) feature, so you can customize the noise canceling feature based on your activity. There is also an equalizer to fine tune your music. -Sam

I don’t regret buying these at all. Better value than apples version in my opinion.

We're sorry to hear your having an issue with the headphones case charging indicator. About the charging time, the required time for fully charging the headset and the charging case is about 3.5 hours. One of the possible solutions to the issue is by updating the firmware of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app) for optimum performance. The software update improves the general performance of the unit and includes key features, applications, and bug fixes. Please visit the link below for instructions.

If the the charging time is too long, check that you are using the supplied USB Type-C cable.
- When connecting the charging case to a computer, use only the supplied USB Type-C cable, and be sure to directly connect them. Charging will not be properly completed when the charging case is connected through a USB hub.
While charging
- The indicator (red) on the charging case lights up while the headset is placed in the charging case and is being charged. The indicator turns off after charging of the headset is complete.
- When charging the headset and charging case by connecting the charging case to an AC outlet, the indicator (red) on the charging case turns off after charging of both the headset and charging case is completed.

Those you could try in the store and we’re amazing - these you couldn’t try but store employee said they worked just as well. I didn’t think they came close. Also, fit was not very comfortable. Returned product after a couple days.
