We do apologize for the inconvenience. If you feel that the bass (low frequency) sound is low or there's a difference in volume levels between the left and right sides of the headphones, change the earbuds to another size that comfortably and snugly fit both ears.

The only issue I have run into is sometimes when you place them in the case they won't charge. However, I have owned these well over a year and they have been dropped on more than one instance.

It's a buggy phone app and there's buggy Bluetooth handoffs. The left ear battery loses charge much faster than the right one. Can't leave the ear buds out of the case as there seems to be a lot of power loss overnight even when the buds are "turned off".

To ensure you get the best Bluetooth connection, please set the headphones Bluetooth Connection Mode to “Priority on stable connection”. Always store the unit in the charging case after use. Otherwise, it will be mistakenly recognized as being in use and will not transfer to the power saving mode. The rate of battery consumption may vary between the left and right earbuds depending on the settings of various functions, and the conditions of use. This is not a malfunction. The difference in the rate of battery consumption between the left and right side becomes noticeable when a touch sensor function is set, such as the Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa voice assistant features, in the Sony | Headphones Connect app.

As a suggestion, to reduce discomfort while wearing the headphones, try to use the right size according to the size of your ears. When wearing them, please gently pull on the top of your ear as you twist the earbud into your ear. This should give you a firmer hold and better noise canceling experience. You may experience an audio dropout if there is an obstacle between the headset and the Bluetooth device such as metal. You have the ability to set the priority of these headphones to either sound quality or stable connection. Stable connection can improve the usable distance of the WF-1000XM3s. If you are listening to music with your smartphone, the situation may be improved by shutting down unnecessary apps or restarting your smartphone. High hopes, huge let down

The right ear bud will cut out and stop working for up to 30 seconds at a time. This is extremely unfortunate when you are only wearing one earbud. 2. The call quality is awful! When I make or receive calls the earbuds freak out. Almost every call I have used these with have turned the sound input into tonal beeps, and garbled noise. It is impossible to hear the other person talking. On their side of the call it has been so bad that I had to remove the earbuds and speak like regular. Overall these issues are big enough draw backs to make me go back to my inexpensive wireless earbuds. I enjoy the noise canceling features when I am at a coffee shop studying but the every day features I need are lacking.
