This is definitely not the experience we wanted you to have in our product. If you haven't yet, please try following the steps below and see if it resolves the problem.

      • Try different audio devices to test.
      • Bring the headset closer to the Bluetooth device. Remove any obstacles between the headset and the Bluetooth device.
      If the problem happened on different devices, please refer to the steps the below:
      • You can set the headphones Bluetooth Connection Mode to “Priority on sound quality”. For instructions, please visit https://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/wf1000xm3/v1/en/contents/TP0002289889.html.
      • For sound quality, we want to make sure you are getting the most out of your headphones. Please make sure you have downloaded the Sony Headphones Connect app. There you will find all sorts of tools to fine-tune your WF-1000XM3 and maximize the volume to your liking. There is even an EQ for bass and treble sound. You may also find different devices will perform better than others, as will different apps due to different types of audio compression and transmission.
      • If the issue still occurs, please make sure that your headphones are running on the latest firmware version. The software includes key features, applications, bug fixes, and feature improvements.     Noise canceling buds

    As far as music goes, these are the best I've heard and as far as phone sound these are the worst that I've heard. Every person i speak to says they can hear everything around and Im always asked if I'm in a stadium. Also the noise canceling doesn't work while you're on the phone.

    The sound on these headphones is often great... but if you're using them for a headset for calls - please keep looking. The number of times on a call I've heard "Wait - you sound like a robot; can you dial back in", "you're breaking up...", "did Darth Vader join the call?".... totally unacceptable I switch to cheap plug in headphones and it's fixed. Very annoying at any price. Especially at this price. (Using iPhone Xs Max fwiw)

    Earphone constantly turn off

    The sound was great, but every time I turned or moved, the sound went off. This happened with both the left and right headphones. I was truly looking forward to the noise cancelling option, but sadly I had to return them. I was told by a Best Buy employee that these headphones are extremely sensitive and will automatically turn off, the way mine did, when they feel the slightest disconnection from your skin. I could not possibly push them in any further, so they did not work for me. I cannot in good conscious recommend them.

If your WF-1000XM3 Bluetooth Headphones turn off unexpectedly after few minutes of use, one of the possible resolutions to the issue is by updating the firmware of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app) for optimum performance. Make sure the batteries are fully charged. Resetting and initializing the headphones to the factory settings may also help resolve the issue.

      The WF-1000XM3 comes with different sizes of earbuds to ensure there is a great fit for all ear sizes and an optimal noise canceling experience. We recommend to use the right size according to the size of your ears. When wearing them, please gently pull on the top of your ear as you twist the earbud into your ear. This should give you a firmer hold and better noise canceling experience.

      We regret to hear that the headphones had to be returned.
      We hope you will consider Sony again in a future purchase. Thank you for the feedback.

    Overpriced and a huge letdown in sound volume no matter how much you crank the in app equalizer. Tried multiple types of tips, sound settings, watched multiple YouTube videos on how to improve the sound but it just isn't there...especially for the price.

    Not worth the money.

    The Earpbuds seem to lose connection often! One of my earbuds seems to have also lost sound quality in less than a year! They also do not have the earbud finding feature like the Apple AirPods…which is weird because of the price of them.

    They connect and they stay connected with great sound. But form factor is large if you are used to AirPods. I like the controls allow volume adjustment which AirPods don’t allow from the touch controls.

    Works with Phone but....can't get it to work with Samsung TV. Called Sony Customer Support --- they had no answer - terrible. Sony is starting to sound like Toshiba and we all know where they are today.

    Good but I am kind of disappointed with the bass. It hurts my ear if I use it for at least an hour Maybe I have to use it longer to get adjusted to it. Until now I am still figuring out how to use it’s features like the noise cancelling, goggle assistant etc. It’s kind of expensive....

    Daughter loves the gift. Uses them at work in computer-centric communications and at musical play. She mentioned how they seemed an 'unusual fit', but only at first. They fit naturally to her now, as designed.

    Hard to get setup so they don't honor all the time. When used with smart TV the sound crackled off and on. Good sound when they are used with phone but go off every time I get an email message or pretty much anything.

    I am giving these earbuds an average rating because of two recurring issues. One the Bluetooth cuts in and out while the phone is less than a meter away and two, songs skip constantly while in use. The skips are annoying and I would expect better from Sony

    I would highly recommend purchasing the Sony WF-1000XM3 Buds. this product has an excellent audio response and is easy to set up. The buds did feel a little bit heavy while in the ear canal.

    Sony True Wireless Noise Canceling In-Ear

    The Sony In Ear Headphones are a great listening device. They paired well with my LG phone and also my Asus tablet. However, they will not pair the my new iPad Pro. That is quite a disappointment.
