    Horrible. Keeps disconnecting from phone

    I never write reviews but these EarPods are horrible. They keep losing connection to my phone. I’ve done all the updates, read all the help articles/posts. And no matter what I try the EarPods drop connection to my phone the middle of every call.

    Disconnect during phone conversations

    For $200 ear buds I expected excellent quality. The ear buds discontent on every single phone call over 20 mins long. Every. Single. Time. The people I talk to daily now expect that this will happen at least once while we're talking. After 30 seconds, they will reconnect. I am so incredibly disappointed.

    I received this as a gift from my wife. It worked great initially, then after two days one of the earbuds quit working. It doesn't light up at all. I tried the "hard reset" that was recommended but it didn't do anything. There was no water damage and I didn't even take them outside. It just quit. I will have to decide if I want to roll the dice with a replacement unit or just return it and go with a different manufacturer.

In that case, cancel the voice focus with the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app. If the wind noise is still significant, turn off the Ambient Sound Mode.

    returned this item my LG are way way better ,t i bought these to use in my office and while on the road the big problem was other wireless item created a huge interference . lots of chatter when connecting to a call . Also adaptive sound would not turn off which created a echoing sound all the time .

    Worst pair of earbuds I've ever purchased. Anytime im around someone else with earbuds, the music cuts off every few seconds, completely ruins my workouts at the gym. Returning them at the moment.

The WF-1000XM3 has a new Bluetooth chip and an optimized antenna design to provide a stable connection for hours of wireless streaming.

      The communication between the devices will be poor if there is an obstruction between the unit and the connected device. If you still have the unit, as a suggestion, you may try setting the Sound quality mode to Priority on stable connection (via Sony Headphones Connect app) and see if it resolves the problem.
