Both these concerns were justified because of the headphones stick out of your ear quite a bit. I would feel very comfortable wearing these in public. They also don't fit in my ear very nicely either. As soon as I put them on I could tell they would not snug in my ear. Sure enough, they feel out of my ear as soon as I started moving quickly. Another issue I had was the touchpad on the side of the earbud. You have to be careful not to swipe the wrong way or touch the pad while taking them out or you may skip a track or whatnot. The positives include great sound quality including bass and good noise cancellation. They have a premium feel and premium case with USB C!

The sound is so clear, I'm hearing things I never heard before. I love listening to Tidal Master songs and I doubt that without these headphones I never would have appreciated the sound quality. All my old songs sound so much better. I pair them to a Pixel 3 and haven't had any issues pairing at all. I have ridden them while cycling and at high speeds going into a heawind I still am able to hear the song. I like them best, however, sitting on my couch. I ordered a pair of the new WF-SP800N sport version for the waterproofing and I hope they are half as good as these.

Ive always tried getting my son to try the ear pods or something similar but he was stuck on the beats. I figured if he didnt want them id keep them when the beats came back. Hes very tech savy and the minute he put them in his ear he said he was keeping them. The sound quality, noise cancellation and over all fit and preformance is amazing. We have apple products and these work excellent woth them.

First pair of true wireless earbuds

The charging case is a handy addition and the connection to my phone has been flawless. I was lazy at first and just used the ear cushion pieces that were on the earpieces from the factory. After experimenting with the different sizes and materials I found that I improved both the sound and noise cancellation so I recommend doing that as one of the first things you do after opening the box!

Will Not Stay in Ears

I had the Bose soundsport prior to these and thought I would give them a try. I can not get them to stay in my ears. I have tried all the ear tips they provided. I have made sure my ears are clean. I have used the tutorial. Still, they slowly creep out of the ear and must be readjusted. If I wanted to use them while I am cleaning the house, they will fall out. I wanted to love them, but no point in having earbuds that sound fantastic but will not stay in your ears.

Great Sound, Bad Comfort

I was so excited, as I am a huge Sony fan. I got the buds as soon as I could. However, 15-20 minutes after I put them in my ear my ears began to ache. I switched out the standard ear tips for the smallest tips and I still have this issue. I feel like the tips aren't small enough for my ears, which is so disappointing. If these fit in your ear they should be great. The sound quality, noise cancelling and app are all great. The only other problem I have is with the touch pads. When I tap them they always make a noise letting me know they registered my tap, but about 40% of the time they just don't do anything besides make the touch noise.

Company does not live up to its warranty claim

To be fair and clear, the sound quality, noise canceling and features are phenomenal. It’s the build quality and warranty service I take issue with, and give this product only 2 stars. I returned the earbuds to Sony and received the unopened new replacement after 2 weeks had passed. They sent the wrong color. I called and asked for the correct color to be sent first, before I return the wrong colored ones. They were unwilling to comply. They did agree to let me overnight the incorrect earbuds, and they would overnight the correct color once the wrong ones were received. I was promised a 4 day turn around at most. After another week had passed, I received an email saying they were shipping me the wrong colored earbuds again. I called again and demanded they send me the correct colored ones immediately. Finally, after another few days, I received the right product. Sony has made a product of inferior quality, and runs a Mickey Mouse operation at best with regards to their warranty department. They have dishonored themselves and their reputation. Good riddance.

Devastated over the loss of my headphones, I purchased these on sale a few weeks later. I was nervous about the quality due to the price difference but holy cow, these are a million times better! Granted my airpods were 1st gen so I cannot compare the noise cancelling aspect, but I really love the 360 audio

These are the best noise cancelling truly wireless headphones. They have amazing sound quality with a very open airy natural sound. They also have excellent stereo imaging. However, the earbuds don't stay in your ear unless you constantly reposition them. It is poorly designed. If Sony can fix it, then I would rate it five (5) stars. FYI, I'm not using it for sports I have JayBirds for that. I only use the Sony WF-1000XM3 earbuds for walking in the airport and at work.

Not working properly with Windows 10

There is a way to get it sort of working, but the volume is very low. Google Reddit Windows 10 WF-1000xm3 not compatible, and find the post by kosinalz for a Dell download link for "Intel Bluetooth Audio.msi" When Google Assistant is activated on the earphone, it completely, completely overrides the left earphone functions like switching between pass-through, somewhat noise cancelled, and completely noise cancelled. And no hold for pass-through. I am returning this. Not acceptable for someone using it for Windows 10. It shouldn't have been allowed to launch until they got the above issues right. There's also no AptX or LDAC, and CCAW dome driver in it is not that impressive (we should get LCP, BA, or another type of higher end IEM driver, like WH-1000XM3 got LCP). The case doesn't stand upright, and is unnecessarily on the larger size. Waiting for next generation. For someone only using this for mobile, I can see it being okay. Noise cancellation is good, sound quality is above average, battery life is good.

It's easily noticed how much sound is being cut out by just wearing them then turning the noise cancellation off then back on. I was really surprised with how great they do. The audio quality is just as great. Overall excelled headphones and very worth the money.

We have other noise cancelling headphones that are adequate for an airplane, but these are the only ones that work on a zero turn mower. In fact they are amazing on the mower.

They seems to be pretty good quality and would probably stand the test of time with proper care. But my biggest issue is whenever I use both earbuds at the same time the audio skips frequently, I've tried all the options restarting phone, restarting headphones, closing out other apps, and adjusting settings in the headphones app and nothing has helped. I will be exchanging these in hopes that I just have a defective pair and that the next pair won't have this problem

Lots of hype and 3 weeks to get delivered from BB
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everyone wants these new Sony noise cancelling earbuds and mine took 3 full weeks in part thanks to bb shipping by the absolute slowest method possible including the post office at the end. Unfortunately, these Sony earbuds do not sound that great imo and they are really large (and heavy). For their large size the bass response should be better. Vocals sound just ok, and the app is not that great, it looks like a version 1.0. The charging case is also really big and an odd shape and it cannot be charged wirelessly but it is usb c although the cable is crazy short and there is no power adapter included. For the high cost, and all the hype I expected much better than this. I really wanted to like these, and I hate the 3rd degree return process at bb, but honestly the galaxy buds sound better.
