Amazing earbuds

Knowing the "Sony Sound" I bought these unheard. The sound is poor. The volume limited way below other headphones. The fit s poor. The devices are too heavy to stay within an active ear. Very disppointed in the purchase and would have sent them back if there had been that option. With Apple now having a noise cancelling bluetooth headphone I do not see this product completing in the market place.

Good earbuds, now with volume tap control

I think they should still make this much more intuitive, with single tap left/right for volume up/down, hold left/right for track back/forward, double tap left ambient/noise control, double tap right play/pause and answer/hang up. They do allow to disable tap controls. They look nice and are comfortable with several foam and nylon sizes. The case looks nice too. The sound profile is opposite the WH900 headphones with a bright treble sound and not a lot of bass. I am very happy with the earbuds and hope they make the tap controls more intuitive.

just buy airpods or something
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.they keep disconnecting from my phone after a week of owning them, and after a few months they now won’t even turn on half the time i take them out of the case. the left earbud won’t work for no reason anymore and the absurdly bulky case is not worth dragging around. the sound was fine (if only it wouldn’t keep cutting out) and the noise cancelling isn’t as great as they claim it to be

This is not the experience that we want you to have. For optimum performance, make sure that the software version of the headphones is updated (via the Sony Headphones Connect app).
The noise canceling function is effective in low-frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices. Noise-canceling is ineffective if your earbud headphones don't fit your ears properly. Select the appropriate size earbud tip that minimizes the ambient noise. Check the Adaptive Sound Control settings on the Sony | Headphones Connect app. If Adaptive Sound Control is on, the effects of noise canceling may become weak. If it's on, we recommend turning it off. You may refer to this link for more information:

The worst ever not worth $100 let alone $300
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Horrrrrrrrible ear buds they do not sit in your ears when you go jogging or even it the grass or walking through through campus no matter what fixtures you put at the end they always are falling out on top of that it’s nothing like it’s advertised on the box I maybe get MAYBE Two hours of music or video play until I hear please charge, I paid $300 plus tax for these and did I mention the battery life? Only last TWO HOURS!!!!!

The WF-1000XM3 comes with different sizes of earbuds to ensure there is a great fit for all ear sizes and an optimal noise canceling experience. As a suggestion, when wearing them, please gently pull on the top of your ear as you twist the earbud into your ear. This should give you a firmer hold and prevent the headset from falling out. Do not buy these headphones

If you were planning on going the gym or wear a hat/beanie or listening to your music with it pausing every 2 seconds for no reason then I would go with literally any other headphone. Do they play music? Yes but my 7 year old AirPod are louder, better bass and better quality for half the price.

Cant use the right bud alone

Let me give 2 examples: 1. open the case take the right bud out and place on the year, nothing happens. Then take out the left bud connection made. 2. listening to music through them, put the left bud back in the case, blue tooth connection is terminated and sound to right bud stops. And does connect with NFC when the first time I used my phone with them.

NOT LOUD AT ALL the worst part of this is that my intention was to have a pair of buds that would be LOUD and these are anything but. With all the volume controls, yes even in the app under now playing, all the way up BARELY drowns out anything. So...returned.

ANC Is okay Audio is Good

I wanted to test these Sony's out if they sound better. Unfortunately I didn't find they did. Even with ANC on in full, I was still able to hear a bit more noise than the Senny + Comply tips. The Senny's have a better seal with the Comply tips so the sound stage is even more enhanced. I tried the Comply tips on the WFXM3's but it did not help. Returning the Sony's.

Disappointing

Left earbud bricked in less tha 24 hours

Then the next morning I decided to pop them in and the left earbud wouldn't turn on. Tried everything to get them to work. Had to return them. A very big disappointment...

Where these headphones fail miserably (an understatement) is when you use them for calls. There is a constant irritating buzzing sound the moment you switch to a call. The buzzing sound is amplified even more if you are in an automobile or a slightly noisy environment. Absolutely useless for me as I wanted to listen to audio books/music and switch to calls when needed.

Hate them

I bought these because I was looking for big sound with loud volume in a wireless earbud. They had the best reviews, and were highly recommended by the sales associate who claimed that they were the best. The sound quality wasn’t what I expect from Sony. Replacement earbuds

I called Sony multiple times just to see if I could get a replacement. Im willing to pay for the replacement. I was finally directed to number to get the replacement the number and I was told it was Radio United. I never got a call or email back from them. I’m honestly just so frustrated at Sony right now like you make this amazing product but I can’t pay for replacement part.

disappointing

Literally compared these with those cheap apple wired headphones that come with the iphone and they outperformed this sony's product. Again very cool look, little bulky but not a big deal, performance definitely not worth 200$. Will be returning these.

Great over all quality, but not made for everyone.

I have tried every earbud fit that are available in the package and none of them work. I was really excited to have these as my ultimate earbud replacement but they sadly do not fit.
