However, after about 3-4 months worth of updates it finally supports these things and connectivity is better. (Samsung S10+) Unfortunately I would still recommend anyone to try the product in person first since the ear buds are rather large and is only supported by the bud that goes into your ear. There's no other piece that'll be holding it up. After about 3-4 hours of use it gets tiring to have it dangle on your year. Noise cancellation is okay. Given that you're actually using the correct sized foam tips, the passive isolation itself makes it about as quiet as having noise cancellation on. 3 Stars for this iteration. Obviously Sony recognized its flaws as a new version is on its way already.

Active noise canceling is more like a better quality ambient sound. If the headphones don't fit right, they have a tendency to fall out. I use them at the gym so they work fine. As long as you know not to expect too much, they're acceptable.

Just wanted to see if they would block the noise better as I mowed the lawn. The sound is good but they constantly cut out. It’s like every 2-3 minutes someone hits the pause button and then starts it back up immediately. It’s annoying. They really don’t fit ears all that well I guess. They keep falling out. I’ve tried all the included ear pieces and just can’t get a good fit. I think I would of been better off buying the newer AirPods.

These headphones can be used for running. However, unlike the WF-1000XM4 model which has IPX4 water resistance, this unit is not waterproof. So make sure to prevent the water or sweat from entering the unit.
For fit concern, the WF-1000XM3 features an Ergonomic Tri-hold structure design for a snugly and comfortably fitting. A high-friction rubber surface keeps the noise canceling earbuds snug and secure in your ear so they won’t slip out unexpectedly. This does also come with an assortment of earbuds in various sizes to ensure there is a great fit for all ear sizes. To ensure optimal performance, as well as to obtain the best fit and prevent the headset from falling out, when wearing them, please gently pull on the top of your ear as you twist the earbud into your ear. This should give you a firmer hold.

These have an equalizer- great sound, usually stay pretty synced together, great battery life, a lot of leakage (other people can hear them), and fantastic volume.

You may experience an audio dropout if there is an obstacle between the headset and the Bluetooth device such as metal. You have the ability to set the priority of these headphones to either sound quality or stable connection. Stable connection can improve the usable distance of the WF-1000XM3s. If you are listening to music with your smartphone, the situation may be improved by shutting down unnecessary apps or restarting your smartphone. Sony provides different sizes of earbuds to obtain the best fit and prevent the headsets from falling out. You may select the earbuds that fit your ears the best and wear the headset correctly. Great if you're looking to just pair it to your phone.

While we're glad you like the design and comfort, we're sorry to hear if you feel the low-frequency sound is insufficient and sound level is low. We value your input and appreciate your feedback. Size M earbuds come attached to the left and right sides of the headset at the time of purchase. If you feel that there is insufficient low frequency sound and a difference in volume between the left and right sides, change the earbuds to another size to comfortably and snugly fit your left and right ears.
For low sound level
• When playing music, adjust the volume on the connected device. If you are unable to adjust the volume on the connected device, install the “Sony | Headphones Connect” smartphone app and adjust the volume in the app.
• When talking on the phone, adjust the volume on the connected device. If you are unable to adjust the volume on the connected device, install the “Sony | Music Center” smartphone app and adjust the volume in the app.
• Connect the Bluetooth device to the headset once again.

Best noise cancelling in ear phones

The battery life of them only last about 3 hours and 20 minutes when noise canceling is on. I believe you can’t get better than noise canceling then these Sony WF-1000XM3 but you certainly can find more comfortable ones. I use these for the airplane and I need something that will feel more comfortable and have longer battery life. After having them over a year they still hold up as if I just purchased them yesterday.

As a suggestion, to reduce discomfort while wearing the headphones, try to use the right size according to the size of your ears. When wearing them, please gently pull on the top of your ear as you twist the earbud into your ear. This should give you a firmer hold and better noise canceling experience.

The case is a bit bulky, but for the amount of charges you get out of that thing, it's totally worth it. They come with many sizes of earpieces, but I wish they came with wing tips. Universal ones on Amazon are ok though.

Best True Wireless Buds I've Tried

Until one of the buds quit working. I was looking for a different pair to try and needed some cheaper ones for a while and they all were pretty bad. I did some more research and found these. The noise canceling feature alone is worth the money. It cuts out pretty much everything. And the sound quality and depth is amazing. My only complaint and this can be fixed by wearing them differently is that if you point them forward like the instructions say to they are very uncomfortable afyer about an hour. I found them to be much more comfortable if you angle them down towards your jawline.
