But the sound quality on phone calls was terrible, and they always disconnected within minutes of a call. So I could never use them for phone calls.

Just way to complicated to keep functioning. Needed mostly for running and fell out 2 times during run. Not a match for me but they are cool technology. Charging case is easy and nice as well.

My only issue is they don't have enough bass for them to be so expensive. The Anker Soundcore Liberty 3 pro is a better product.

No issues with call quality. Noise cancellation is just same as AirPods pro but definitely sound is better than AirPods pro.
