The WF-1000XM3 features an Ergonomic Tri-hold structure design for a snugly and comfortably fitting.This does also comes with an assortment of earbuds in various sizes to ensure there is a great fit for all ear sizes. As a suggestion, to reduce discomfort while wearing the headphones, please gently pull on the top of your ear as you twist the earbud into your ear. The WF-1000XM3 have a new Bluetooth chip and an optimized antenna design to provide a stable connection for hours of wireless streaming. To ensure you get the best Bluetooth connection, please set the headphones Bluetooth Connection Mode to “Priority on stable connection”.

Hi Michael, We regret to hear that the headphones had to be returned. Sony provides different sizes of earbuds to obtain the best fit and prevent the headset from falling out. It is recommended to use the right size of earbuds that fit your ears the best and wear the headset correctly. We regret your experience with our product and we apologize that it didn't live up to your expectations. We appreciate your feedback regarding the noise cancelling of the product. Good to know you like the sound quality of them.

For the noise-canceling issue, we provide an assortment of earbuds in various sizes to ensure there is a great fit for all ear sizes and an optimal noise-canceling experience. To ensure optimal performance with noise canceling, as well as to obtain the best fit and prevent the headsets from falling out. Please use the right size according to the size of your ears. When wearing them, please gently pull on the top of your ear as you twist the earbud into your ear. This should give you a firmer hold and better noise canceling experience.

It's unfortunate that the headphones had to be returned. We hope you will consider Sony again in a future purchase.

While we're happy that you like the incredible sound quality, we regret to know you've been running into some issues with the headphones battery life is short or the battery power does not last long. For available operating time of the unit, the usage hours may be different depending on the settings and conditions of use. Also, when the Equalizer function is used, the playback time will be shorter by about 45% at most. Check the Available operating time in your model's Help Guide for operating times of the headphones on a fully-charged battery.

If you enable the following functions, the operating time will be shorter.

• Equalizer
• DSEE Extreme, DSEE HX, DSEE
• Note: If you activate the Equalizer and DSEE Extreme (or DSEE HX, DSEE) at the same time, the operating time will be shorter than if you enable only one of the functions.
• Speak-to-Chat
• Priority on sound mode while using Bluetooth
• Voice assistant
• Automatic wind noise reduction
