Unbelievable Sound
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would have given these earbuds 5 stars for sound alone but two things kept it at 4. One, I tried all the earbud tips but the right one wouldn’t stay in without cramming it in my ear. Two, they protruded out so much I couldn’t lay on my side with both in my ears. The sound and noise cancelling were fantastic as good as the sennheiser momentum’s. I am taking back because I am worried I will be wearing out on a walk and they will fallout and not comfortable in my ears.

Sounds great but too chunky for daily use
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought several bluetooth earbuds - these, Apple Airpods Pro, Enacfire G20, and various other generic brands on Amazon to do tests with. In my opinion these Sony earbuds are the best sounding ones I tried, much better than the more expensive Airpod Pros. Better noise cancellation too. But they are just too bulky to use on a daily basis. They fall out of the ears if you move too much making them usable for a gym, and even when sitting still at a coffee shop you can feel their heft. I hope the next version from Sony works as well but at least 20% smaller.

Posted .Hi Jim2020, For the noise canceling function to be fully effective, select the earbuds that fit your ears the best, and wear the headset correctly. SONY provides different sizes of earbuds to obtain the best fit and prevent the headsets from falling out. The earbud will be easier to slide deep into your ear if you pull up on the top of the ear lightly while twisting the headset. ~Earl

Overall happy
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use my headphones 8-10 hours a day, 5-6 days a week. Battery life is great! I charge the headphones on my 15 min breaks and half hour break, and the charging case every 2-3 days. Sound is awesome, although the right headphone randomly stops working, not due to the battery, so I'm not sure what's going on. Last few days they both stopped working randomly, I changed music apps to see if it was a phone issue, after a few tries hitting play on the app, then headphones, I got it to work. Overall they work at keeping people from annoying me at work so I can focus :)

Best noise cancellation
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best noise canceling earbud. Although call quality may not be par..but if u are hunching for best music experience you wouldn't go wrong spending money in this ear bud. TRUST me I tried other cheap ear buds too..but noise cancelation and bass music is by far the best. There may be drop in Bluetooth..but it also depends on the website that you browse and the malfunction in the phone. Initially I thought it is a defect in earbud.but after cleaning my phone it never dropped. So connection wise it should be good.

Great audio, but bad for calling
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Also, you have to be very dependent on your phone as these headphones do not have audio control buttons on them and also to use some functions requires you to open up the app everytime you connect. The sound quality makes up for it though and the passive noise focusing on voices is really helpful, especially at work. My friend has the same set and, sometimes, when on a call he sounds very raspy. To fix the issue you have to reconnect the device. I ultimately returned the set because it wasn't water resistant and as fall approaches, I would be too scared to take these out.

Not an enjoyable listening experience
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.About 3 months after having them, they started to "flicker", that is the sound would have multiple tiny gaps, like some sort of interference. But I was within a foot of the sending source. They have also developed periods when one of them just cuts off for a minute, so your stereo experience is gone. It will come back on. IIt did not do any of this in the beginning, which points to a defect in the buds. They are also clunky. I bought some Heyday earbuds a little later, they are 80% less as far as price goes, and work perfectly with just as good sound quality and a much lighter profile. It is too late to return them, but I thought I'd let others know since these type of reviews have also been helpful to me. I was drawn by the Sony name which used to stand for better quality. God bless and Merry Christmas, everybody!

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought these a couple of months ago and I an not really happy with them. The sound and comfort are great. The only issue I have is that they constantly disconnecting from my phone. Any time I get a call while listening to music it disconnects. Its really the only thing i dislike but it a pretty big deal in my opinion. The app has a lot of options for sound and noise canceling. Really great if they would just stay connected.

Good in- Ear Headphones
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound system which stems from the bass is pretty decent. Although the treble is not so clear especially when listening to classical music, which can have plenty of accompanied instruments. All the same, they are pretty durable; they have been dropped a few time and still work perfectly well. The only disadvantage I find in them is their bulky size, which prevents them from staying in your ears long periods if you keep moving.

Best True Wireless I have gotten
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have recently bought a Sony phone and was disappointed with wf1000 (previous model) but was happy that to many fixes to software and greatly improved sound quality. Also the charger works perfect and I never have a problem running out of charge unlike the pervious model. The only complained I have is that they are do fall out of the ear pretty easy but everything else is perfect.

A Critical Review
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bottom Line: After spending at least two weeks with the Sony WFs (my second pair after returning one previously) using them with both a PC and an iphone with the latest firmware, I cannot recommend these as a purchase. The sound quality is above average, but the noise-cancelling is minimal, battery life is not good, and I have had daily problems with connectivity and not charging. Sound Quality: The sound quality is definitely quite good for earbuds. They have a very strong mid-range and really give percussion a lot of punch. Treble also sounds great. However, they are very lacking in the low-end and I have definitely heard better earbuds out there. I will also add that setting them to an equalizer, "priority on sound quality," and "DSEE" significantly improves the sound quality, but this absolutely sucks the battery life down. I was getting seriously only 1.5 hours. Noise-Cancelling: I am almost confused by all the reviews claiming the noise-cancelling is good. I am partially spoiled by also owning the (phenomenal) over-ear WH-XM2s, but the noise cancelling is so minimal on the buds. I tested them in multiple environments and if I have to constantly wonder if noise-cancelling is on or not, then that is a clear sign that it is bad. It mildly muffles out low-end noises, but that's about it. Wind and nearby conversations or coffee-shop clatter is not affected at all. And yes, I tried out different bud coverings and ensured they had a tight fit in my ear. I will also add that Sony put in a very bad feature when you are taking calls or on Zoom; that is, it automatically amplifies ambient sound! While I know this is to make your own voice sound more clear, this absolutely defeats the purpose of noise-cancelling. It's a joke that when I am on Zoom my surrounding office is actually LOUDER with the headphones on than if not! There is no option to customize this awful feature. Mic Quality: Awful before the firmware update, but above average after the latest firmware. Props to Sony for improving this. That being said, I have compared it to my stock laptop mic and I would say the headphones sound slightly worse. Bluetooth/Connectivity: Wow. I have never owned a pair of headphones with this many connection problems. I have owned the WH-1000XM2s for over 3 years and have not had a single issue. I have had galaxybuds in the past also without a single bluetooth problem. These, on the other hand, are constantly disconnecting. Sometimes both just decide to disconnect and turn off while in ear. More commonly and on a regular basis, one earbud always randomly disconnects. Also, the bluetooth goes in and out during music playback, making a scratchy, awful listening experience. I have simply never had this problem with headphones before. I am having all of these problems after the latest firmware update AND this is my second pair. Battery/Charging: The case looks sleek, but that's about it. I have had issues where only one bud will charge, sometimes they will stop charging prematurely (even though the case has a full charge) and the battery life overall is really bad. You have to turn off all the sound features and have the sound quality dip in order to get over 3 hours. Design: I will say that I do like the more professional, premium "look" of the headphones.

Good could have been great.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound is equal to or better than some of the premium earbuds costing much more. However, they did not stay in my ears while moving around. I didn’t use them during exercise. I didn’t expect the noise cancellation to be up there with the over ear noise cancelling ones from Sony and Bose but, noise cancelling on these was nearly nonexistent to me. It was inconvenient to have to disconnect the buds from one device to connect to another. I returned mine.

Good for music
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Music come through clear. Phone calls seem to have a buzz and no matter what I do who ever I'm talking to hears it. I use these as ear plugs and music player on construction sites and it allows me to answer calls while having hands full. Not a bad unit. It's the only wireless buds I've ever owned so I can't compare to anything else. I did have protection and had them replaced and still had issues. Could also be my cheap phone causing buzz. For the most part they stay in ear. Sweaty days they tend to move around.

Best true wireless earphones I've used
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Without a doubt these are the best true wireless earphones I've used. Everything is top notch. The build quality, the audio quality, the fit, battery life, performance, you name it. 5 stars all across the board except for one minor issue I have. I have long hair and when I move my hair away from my face I sometimes graze one of the microphones and it makes a loud hissing sound. Otherwise I'd recommend it to anyone. There is a nice selection of silicone and isolating tips all of which are very comfortable and can wear for hours.

WORST wireless headphones I have owned.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Apparently Best Buy does not allow you to edit a review or submit more than one, so I had to creat a new account to update my 2 star review. These headphones are the WORST I have ever used and I would return them in a heartbeat if I could. I am currently on my second pair of headphones (the first pair had too many issues, so I asked Sony to refund my money and they sent me a replacement pair instead.) The new pair has just as many issues. After figuring out what size fits my ear best, I I then figured out how to insert them. Basically, shove them in as far as they can possibly go, otherwise they will fall out while running, walking, or bending over. I don’t know how many long runs I have been on where one, or both, headphones suddenly drop their connection and stop working unless I physically put them back into their case and take them back out. On many different occasions it has taken me a while to even get the headphones connected (yes, after they were already paired to my phone.) They also default to half the sound level on my phone, so every time I use them I have to turn the volume back up so I can actually hear what I want to listen to. These things are garbage, and I am disappointed in Sony’s product and am highly disappointed in their inability to work with me. I would also suggest to Best Buy to allow editing of reviews. I’ll never recommend these to anyone. Save your money and look elsewhere.

IMO hands down the best true wireless out there!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earphones offer an unparalleled audio experience. The audio quality, customizable through the Sony Headphones app, delivers ice crisp quality while being able to deliver a notably broad range of frequency ranges. Each earbud also features an individual connection, meaning no slaved earbuds and therefore higher ranges (I'm able to hold connection up to 30 feet away before any cutoffs occur). The battery life is unbelievable on these, as one charge delivers 6 hours WITH noise cancelling on, and 8 hours with ANC off; the case offers 3 extra full charges, guaranteeing a full day of power. The charging port is now USB-C, which is great for many Android and MacBook users since you won't have to lug around an extra cable; also, this allows quicker charging times. As great as all of these features are, there is one that truly sets these earphones apart from any other; industry leading noise cancelling. These actually cancel a comparable quality to my over-ear WH1000-XM3, which, if you are unfamiliar with this model's noise cancelling quality, can cancel enough noise to make you oblivious to your surroundings. Plane, wind, and fan noise are a complete problem of the past when plugging these in, as these noises are completely cancelled once turned on. TL,DR: They are indubitably worth the $230 price, especially when compared to any other headphones or earphones.

Very nice earbuds
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very happy with these earbuds. I’m not an audiophile and the sound quality is great in my opinion. Very easy to connect to phone and the touch sensors are very responsive. I would of liked to be able to adjust the volume from the buds, but this doesn’t affect me much since I have my phone is always with me. I did have a bit of ear fatigue when having the buds in for long periods. The case is a little bulkier than I would of liked.
