Great in many ways, yet still comes with drawbacks
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Battery life, ANC, connectivity all have been good. Not LDAC though, just to stress to those who care. Making calls can be sometimes pretty unstable, buds’ staying in the ears depends on individuals, and the charging case is not the most portable (though considering the battery upside this one is just a trade, which I can accept personally) Overall, got its style but really depends on you. Not that universally friendly as AirPods. If possible, ask a friend to try first. Credit for Sony ‘s efforts here, just don’t go for it blindly.

Sony WFXM3 wireless in-ear headphones love them
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These Sony WFXM3 True wireless in-ear headphones sound amazing. The sound is rich and full. They paired easily with my phone and the noise cancelling is amazing. The only problem I had was pairing them with my laptop. I was able to accomplish the task. But it was not as intuitive as paring with my phone or other devices. The only complaint I have which is minor. one fell out of my ear when I was using them at work. Kinda scary because they are so expensive.

Great ear buds overall.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are a pair of great ear buds overall. I have spent some a significant amount of time researching wireless headphones to ear buds. While headphone surpass ear buds. These ear buds are the closest you can get to a big heavy, hair messing headset. In my opinion the compact size of the bud charging case and battery life is what sealed the deal on my purchase. A lot of other features are not found on are there a comparable versions. Also the only set that I found with a noise-cancelling feature.

Great sound, but never felt secure in my ear
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound and technology of these headphones is unmatched in my opinion. They literally change how the noise canceling balances out based on your surroundings without you doing anything. The sound was great, BUT I could never get them to stay in my ear, I tried the different ear sizers, but they never felt secure and constantly fell out my ear. So I had to return them. I couldn’t even eat or talk with them on, and I wasn’t going to risk them falling and breaking.

Posted .Hi Malachi,
Thank you for the feedback on your experience with your WF-1000XM3 True Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones.
Thanks for your honest review. We value your input and appreciate the feedback. We're very glad you like the features, sound quality, and noise canceling. We appreciate your effort on trying all the earbuds that came with the unit. If the earbuds do not fit your ears, the design may not fit your head and/or ears.
The WF-1000XM3 comes with different sizes of earbuds to ensure there is a great fit for all ear sizes and an optimal noise canceling experience. As a suggestion, when wearing them, please gently pull on the top of your ear as you twist the earbud into your ear. This should give you a firmer hold and better noise canceling experience.
We regret to hear that the headphones had to be returned.
We hope you will consider Sony again in a future purchase. Thank you for the feedback.

Great sound, excellent noise cancelling
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought these as an alternative to my over ear headphones. There is a reason they have such high reviews everywhere. Great quality sound, extremely comfortable. The noise cancelling works great. As a side note, I bought these in february and the charging base has kept them at full power for over two months with intermittent use. impressive.

Great sound and the bass is awesome. The case is also great and has great battery life. I would recommend these over any other earbuds.

Possibly best in-ear headphnes
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this pair for using at work, while trying to be more mobile. I already own the Sony WH-1000XM3 (Sony's naming convention are curious... the WH is the overhead phones). These are quite the equivalent to the overhead model, the sound quality is almost as good. They are in-ear, and come with 4 pairs of in-ear sealing cups, to match whatever the size of your ears' holes. Noise cancelling is great. They really help me focus on my work all day long. The case they come with allow for charging while not wearing them (connecting with a fancy magnetic connection). The case takes a while to fully charge, and charges through USB-C. Battery for the phones with case lasted me about a week of playtime. Average of 6 hours of listening a day. They use same Sony music app as the WH, and allow for great sound profile customizations. If you are not into over-ear headphones, this is an amazing option. They work with android, iOS, windows, and MacOS. You can also customize the touch controls on each phone, for playback, voice response, and volume. Though issue is that they can be paired with several devices, they can only connect with one at a time.

Solid choice for the money
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love these earphones for comfort and quality of sound. I have a pair of Bose ear bud noise reduction headphones as well and while these are more comfortable, the Bose are a bit better at noise reduction and blow them away when it comes to battery life. If you don't need more than a 6 hour charge, I'd pick these. Otherwise, I think I'd stick with Bose. Overall though, I am happy with my purchase.

Didn't work for me
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds offer great sound. The ANC (active noise cancellation) also works very well. I wanted to like these, but they would not stay in my ears very well. I tried every tip (there are many included), but none worked for me. They also hurt my ears badly after 20-30 minutes. Everyone's ears are different. If these fit you well, they are fantastic. I returned mine. Hope you have better luck.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sounds amazing and the active noise control is pretty fantastic however that may be the only thing it has going for it. It’s not user friendly, you have to download their proprietary app to make it pair with your phone and they are pretty bulky in size, and they keep falling out of my ear or if they don’t it always feels like they are going to. Which is why I had to return them otherwise I would have definitely kept them.

Great sound bad fit
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off these sound awesome great bass and mid. Connection is solid with my iPhone 11. Only issue I have is that if I am walking around or bending over to tie my shoe or pick something up they will fall out I have tried several different ear adapters but still have this issue or worse yet one that kinda fits a holds it in place doesn’t seal properly so the sound quality is garbage. But I will keep trying new ear adapters a with luck will be able to get a great fit and sound.

Amazing sound!
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't say enough about these, they are amazing. I travel a lot for work and needed something that would cancel noise on the plane and give me great sound quality. I love that there are 3 modes on these; noise canceling, background noise enhancement and regular listening. The noise canceling works great on the plane. It blocks out all of the background noise and allows you to listen to what you have on without cranking the sound to ear bleeding levels. I get about 4 hours of listening with noise canceling turned on. It does eat up the battery but they charge pretty quick in the case. The background noise enhancement mode is great when in the airport. I can hear my music and hear all the announcements being made over the loudspeaker. I use them with the sound modes off when exercising or going for a walk. When you turn the sound modes off, the battery seems to last forever! Recent updates in firmware have made these amazing for call quality too. When I first got them, call quality (on the other end) wasn't good but they fixed those issues. My callers do not complain about the call quality. I would 1000% recommend these. If it matters, I used them with an iPhone Pro 11 Max.

Great sound and ANC, but that's about it.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Things I like: - Sound quality. Very agreeable and tonally correct sound signature. Leaning on a warm sound with a fairly smooth top end. Vocals sound pretty natural. - ANC performance Things I didn't like: - Large size and fairly heavy - Fairly short battery life at 5 hours - Moving about with ANC on. You can hear the earpieces bouncing around since they're quite heavy and essentially ruining the listening experience.

Break My Heart Again Sony
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used these for a week and ended up returning them. At first, I was happy to get them for $168 after waiting over a year. I also have the WH-1000 XM3 and have had two pair because they truly are the best in the business. I also have the XB-900N which are actually the most comfortable. On top of that, I have the SRS X55, X77, XB41, and just got the XB43. I really like Sony's sound and design on most of their products. I even went to return these after a couple days and couldn't do it because I really wanted these to work out. The problem with these earbuds that lead to being a deal breaker was the bulky design. They stuck out so far and were so large, that for the first time, in ears with rubber tips didn't feel good in my ears. I had heard about that in reviews, but I didn't think they'd literally stick out like alien antennas. I also felt like even with the noise cancelling, sound was getting through easier than with some passive cancelling designs. The battery life was great and better than the Galaxy Bud's Live (I call them Galaxy Beans), but the case was prone to scuffs and scratches even after 2-3 days in my pocket. So the physical design wasn't as streamlined, while the sound and software was 100% more preferable, and it hurts that I can't have matching earbuds to my headphones. I have been more pleased with the Galaxy Beans because they are so slim, I can lay my head on a pillow with them in, and it's not totally uncomfortable. Even though the seal on the Galaxy's is virtually non-existent, they are more comfortable, look better, and sound surprisingly excellent. If Sony could just downsize (and balance) the earbuds, and increase the size of the case battery instead, I think that would be preferable if not perfect.

Good In-Ear, but not the best I owned
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start with the good: great sound, love the design, case looks awesome, gives you voice feedback on battery level and other modes. The not so good: Can't get them to stay in my ear and keep falling out (tried all the fittings), gets uncomfortable when using them for a while, no wireless charging, ok noise canceling. Overall, good earbuds and at a good price.

Great sound quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My original AirPods that I have had for almost 3 years finally died. I was unhappy with the battery life so I decided to look for another brand. I googled best Bluetooth and these were among the best rated. I have had these for about a month or so. They are very comfortable and the sound quality is great...if not better than the AirPods. The only thing I can’t stand is the frequent reconnecting the headphones do with my phone. It happens every 10 minutes or so and can be annoying.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Another great set of headphones by Sony! Are comfortable, comes with an array of tips for the perfect fit, and with the App awesome sound controls. Able to work with one or both earbuds in, controls are simple and easy to use. Have the over the ear noise cancelling Sony MDR-1000X which are amazing for long flights, these work well for normal noise cancelling; out and around town. But average for flying, however in a pinch and a little extra volume they aren't bad in comparison with other earbuds.

Best Noise Cancelling, Bad styling and feel
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are my second high end Sony noise cancelling earbuds. In my opinion they are the second best sounding earbuds behind the Ipods. Theres no other brand of wireless earbuds, that comes close to the noise cancelling that these have and that is why I like them. The charging case is alot better than the last one I had that was not magnetic and would not always charge. The biggest downfall I have with these is even after trying all the attachments it comes with, they fall out of my right earlobe all the time, it feels like its suction that holds it in there well and if its not in the perfect spot each time Im constantly worried they will fall out. The older version was similar but had a little optional plastic piece you could use that attached in the inner which I loved. Wish you could use it on these. best overall earbuds in my opinion.

Pretty uncomfortable for my ears
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really excited to use these. I bought them when they were on sale for around $180. I liked the design of the case and the fact that it had fast charging. I was really excited for the ANC since the Sony 1000XM3’s are my favorite noise cancelling headphones ever. However, my excitement didn’t last since as soon as I put them in my ears I immediately realized they weren’t for me. They didn’t fit well and they were incredibly uncomfortable in my ears. They’d fall out with a simple shake of my head. I tried several sizes of ear-tips that came with it including the foam ones (I’ll give Sony a lot of respect for including such a wide array of different size and types of ear tips). Because of that, the ANC was basically nonexistent since they didn’t even fit well enough in my ear to create the necessary suction and hold to allow the ANC to fully function. They were also very low in volume and bass compared to other true wireless headphones I have. All in all, I really like the concept and design and tech in it, but they just weren’t a good fit... literally.
