Great Sony Quality
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great overall quality, visually appealing and comfortable to wear. For the price, though, expected to have ability to connect to two devices simultaneously via multi-point connectivity versus having to connect, disconnect and reconnect. That was a deal breaker fro me. Hope they add this feature in a future release.

An excellent update to these TWS headphones
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Design: Great inconspicuous look. Doesn't protrude out of your ears in a way that you look goofy. Black color looks great. Quality: Case is of a nice build, buds are nice and light without feeling flimsy. Audio: Excellent sound and bass without muddling sound. Noise cancelling could be better considering the hype around it using the same engine as the WH-1000XM3's but the WH ANC has been suffering since its last firmware update so I guess this was to be expected. Ease of use: Touch controls are a nice to have but I haven't found a reason to use them in daily use -- I have no reason to disable ANC ever, and I prefer using my phone to skip songs than pushing the buds deeper into my ears. Value: This is a great price in my opinion. I have yet to find a set of TWS headphones that matches this sound quality in this price range. I've tested multiple TWS headphones including the Airpods, Jabra Elite 65Ts, and Powerbeat Pro's, each of which had its own glaring weaknesses (noise isolation for Airpods, audio quality for the Jabra's, and the laughably enormous charging case for the Powerbeats.

Great for listening, garbage for calls
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.5 stars for sound quality, 0 stars for nearly everything else. I have been using these for frequent conference calls since receiving them in August. On nearly every call, I am told that people can barely hear me, or I sound like a robot, or like I'm yelling down a long hallway. Even switching to speakerphone is consistently a big improvement. Failing at this basic functionality is beyond unacceptable for headphones in this price range. This appears to be how they were designed and not a problem with my individual set. I have found dozens of forum threads around the world with people having the same problem. Replacements do not help, and those who have reached out to Sony are told that this performance is "within spec." Again, this is beyond unacceptable for a premium device in this price range. The only way I can make these work for me is to also carry my AirPods and switch back and forth depending whether I want to listen to something or need to join a call. This is absurd, especially given that the case for these is huge compared to the AirPods. Software is also lacking. You have to use the Sony app to pair and control the headphones, and it is annoyingly limited. You must pick a "profile" for each headphone to assign a predefined set of tap functions. For example, you can set the left one to Playback Control and the right one to Google Assistant, but you CANNOT have a single tap on the left play/pause and a double tap on the left activate Google. On top of that, if either headphone is assigned to Google Assistant, you CANNOT use the other one alone while the Assistant headphone is in the case. This is consistent across Android and iOS and makes another piece of core functionality I bought these for useless because I am on calls or listening literally all day long and swap from left to right earphone as they run low. If you only care about listening, never use them for calls, and are willing to accept the limitation on tap configuration, you will not find better sound quality in wireless headphones, but...if you want to do ANYTHING other than listen, take your money elsewhere. Oh, did I mention that I can pair them with my Windows 10 PC, but they do not work at all? No update on this in months either. I am extremely disappointed in this product and in Sony for putting it out with these core issues and apparently having zero intention to improve them.

Nice earbuds but terrible Service Experience
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this after a lot of research and I have loved it ever since until I didn't. The sound quality was great. The noise cancellation was decent. I had an issue with these buds where if I turn on ANC and listen, the sound would be muffled. This happened at a very bad time while I was travelling. I reached out to sony, and they asked me for the box of the earbuds. I didn't have it. I sent them the receipt from best buy but they didn't like it. They said they'll need a warranty card from the box. Who uses that these days? I didn't have that. So, they told me they are not responsible for the repair and I still have this issue. Apart from that, the earbuds are great and I really hope sony makes service easier and better

Pretty good, but not perfect
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound modes work, noise canceling is real good. I use them while mowing the lawn, working around the house and garden. Usually have my iPhone in front or back pocket of my shorts. Occasional break up of connectivity btwn phone and buds. Works better with phone in fanny pack.

Returned...
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I was waiting anxiously for this to come out. Read all the reviews and YouTube clips. So finally the day came I got this from Best Buy. Build quality is great. Issue I had was if I had them for more than 2 hours my ear started to itch and some pain. Mind you i got big ear canals. Most if not all different types of in ear buds fit me with no issues. I believe these were intended for business travelers those who take planes often like I do. Unless it's a commuter flight less than 2 hours these can be an issue. Sound is good but lacks volume. Granted I do like to listen at higher volume than most but this was a bit too low. If you like to have loud volume and still having a few clicks in reserve this unit is not it. Also, the sound is not dynamic. It is lacking some of the higher quality features so keep that in mind.

After trying cheaper options, I ended up here
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought I could go with the cheaper earbuds and be happy, but after trying some Soundcore I decided to just bite the bullet and go for the Sony's. I helped that they were on sale for less than $200. Sound quality good. Volume good. Noise canceling good. Fit is still being worked out. I think i may need to try different tips. My ears start to hurt after an hour or so. But they seem to fit snug and not fall out. It looks like both foam and silicone tips are included. Charging case is a little big and seems upside down to me, but works good. Charges fast, and buds are always topped off and ready.

Work OK if you just sit around.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tried all the various configurations of the ear bud covers and could not find any that would stay in my ears if I did much moving around. I have to continually push the ear buds back in while working out on the weight machines. When flying, the earbuds don't stay in tight enough to make the noise cancelling feature work well (too much background noise leaks in). If you don't move much, the ear buds are OK. Otherwise, you will constantly fiddle with them to keep them in your. The battery charging case is a plus. Bose wired noise cancelling ear buds were much better. Will go back to Bose.

Great Sony Sound as Expected, but a Couple of Nits
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed to replace my Powerbeats (thethered) because these just didn’t seal properly resulting in poor bass response. Been looking that the Sony’s for some time and decided to purchase them a month ago. I own a pair of the wirelsess cans (MX3) and absolutely love these headphones. So the bar was pretty high for the wireless earbuds. I was immediately impressed by the fit and, most importantly, the sound quality - which is my first priority. The sound is full, which clear minds and highs, and generous lows. I have two nits, however. The first concerns the max amplitude I can achieve when using my iPhone as a source, The second is the touchy touch controls. Any time I touch the buds (e.g., to insert or reposition) I activate some control, which is annoying. I quickly got used to this, but a better interface would be appeciated. Overall, I love these wireless earbuds.

Will not stay in my ear
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to like these headphones, but I could not get to that point. Pros: Sound quality, style, battery life, Sony app that lets you customize the sound (equalizer, noise cancelling levels, etc), earbuds case that also charges the earbuds, great active sound cancelling, easy to use touch controls on the earbuds. Cons: The earbuds would not stay in my ear. They kept falling off. I read the trouble shooting, Put the ear buds in my ear and did the recommended twist, but no luck. I tried “all” of the 7 silicon adapters, but no luck. After some thought, I returned them. If they can stay in your ear, you are in luck. Those are great headphones. If not, you will probably end up like me and return them.

Worth it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Good: Excellent noise cancelling if you chose the right sized buds for your ears. Charges very quickly. The sound is excellent The Bad: Only 6 hours of battery life. They can't get wet. You can't exercise with them. The panel isn't always responsive. The Ugly: Choppy reception with a lot of static and feedback when you make a call through WhatsApp. It only occurs with calls through an app. I gave them 5 stars because I didn't buy them to make calls but to listen to music. So I don't care if they aren't good with phone calls. They succeed greatly in the area that prompted me to spend this amount on wireless headphones.

||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The quality of the case and each individual earbud are top notch. The sound is terrific and has different modes and features to customize the sound the way you want. It also has the ability to read out notifications when you recieve them. Noise canceling is good but not like the I've the head Sony headphones.. Never the less they do work and can cancel out unwanted surrounding sounds. The battery life time varies if you are using ambient sound or noise canceling. I usually have it on noise canceling and the batter does last me a good 3-4 hours. Which is about the same amount of time that I spend listening to music. Overall they are great earbuds and they are what you pay for.

||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love these headphones. However sometimes the left one will shut off in the middle of working out and come back on a second or two later. Great sound, impressive noise cancellation.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First true wireless earbuds I purchased, I decided to invest in something nicer and it was definitely worth it. Sound quality is great. I was concerned because by the specs they do not have quite as low of a bass range as the Bose competitor but I have not had any issues since purchasing. Even if only listening to mp3 sound quality is good, FLAC files sound incredible. Noise cancellation is of course not to the same extent as over-the-ear model but still very effective in private and in noisy public settings. Connected app lets you adjust degree of noise cancellation so you can fine tune it to you or disable it to increase battery life.

For the snobs
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m new to the earbud game. Only ones I’ve tired at EarPods, AirPods and they Jlab air wireless that was on sale 30 bucks last year. These Sony sounded better than my AirPods and and the Jlabs but not enough for me to notice or care. The bass wasn’t strong enough for me so I’m going to try the jabra 75t because it’s only 120 now. Plus I hear it’s easy to put on. These are not, and you constantly feel like you have to adjust them to get the best nose cancellation effect. The former not being too impressive. They we’re about half as good as my beats studio 3 at noise cancellation. Not sure if that’s good or bad. But they so have a nice customization setup so you can change the sound. My biggest dislike was that you have to pay 50 for the geek squad. Cmon Best Buy if products go on sale you should adjust the geek squad pricing too. Other earbuds that are 150 have geek squad for only $37.
