For any running or heavy workouts I wouldn’t recommend using these. But for your average day at home, they have a nice feel, nice sound cancellation and good sound. I also wouldn’t recommend if you are taking phone calls a lot, unlike AirPods where your call automatically comes through your earphones. Every time you call or get a call, it asks you what speaker you want the call through(between Earphones, phone, or airplay)

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.What I've come to expect from a Sony product, I have the WH-1000M3, and now these, the WH, have more power but lack in carrying convenience, and a more powerful NC, but for $120 less and the size factor you can't complain. Now I'm not saying these aren't worth it by any means. They are powerful, comfortable, and the NC is exceptional especially because of the size difference. I got them for myself and fiance .

Very crystal sounds even when on calls I can here them as if they were in front of me! Love the noise cancelling feature on them. Only downside is the mic quality. Everyone that I've talked to over the phone says the same thing, hard to hear me and there's a lot of background noise that gets picked up when I'm on a call with friends and family. I can hear them perfectly but they have a harder time on hearing me especially if I'm at a busy place. Other than that it's very good earbuds!

Great sound, but using only one is a pain.

The only problem I have with them is that they act up is one dies, or if you device you only want to use one. You have to really mess with them and your phone, and the app to get one headphone to work on its own. Especially if it’s the left one. It’s possible, but I’m still not even sure how I got it to work the last time. Besides that, they’re nice. Wish the case was wireless charging but for the price I can’t complain.

Good Earbuds but auto on problems

They have very nice clear sound and decent bass. I have heard better noise cancelling but you have the ability to adjust the sound with the app. Only problem is they don't want to turn on when taking them out of the charging case. I have to put them back in and wait for the red light which turns blue when connected to bt. Also they are hard to get out of the case with very strong magnetic pull. I am contemplating sending them back for a refund as I am not sure if they will turn on or not.

The noise cancelling is amazing and they fit perfect in my ear. I have always had trouble keeping ear buds in my ears and these stay well. Returned and bought the Sony earbuds on recommendation of the sales associate and he was right. These earbuds have great sound, no cancelling and bluetooth range. They are also comfortable to wear.

The noise-canceling is no joke. Battery life is very nice and the app is very easy to use. the only thing missing and I mean the only thing is volume control. If the mx4 has volume control it will be the ultimate wireless earbuds till then these are the closest thing.

Left earbud started to get warm and immediately went from 100% charge to 0% in 10 mins or less. Charged it all day and ot never worked after that. Went to sony website and did a factory reset but still nothing. Returned these but getting another one and hopefully its just a battery issue. Besides that these are amazing! Sound is awesome on all genres 5/5, Fit is 4/5. Sound isolation 5/5, Sony lay attention! These are a winner but pls pay close attention to your quality assurance department

Earbuds won't stay in, bad in humid climates

They constantly pop out of ear and slowly lose their tight seal - especially with any hint of moisture/sweat/humidity. I live in Florida with high humidity, so the ear tips would always get slightly slippery. Which hurts the sound quality, the noise cancellation, and eventually they just slide out. I tried all the sizes of eartips included, I twisted just as shown online, yet nothing ever worked to keep them tight inside the ear for more than 5-10 minutes. If sitting at a desk in a very cool environment, these might work for you. But walking around or while you might get hot, just not good. I have the Samsung Buds and have no problem with them, they never lose seal or slide out. They are a better option, but unfortunately no noise canceling. Until then, Sony's noise canceling headphones are still amazing, but the earbuds need more work. Hopefully they can get them down to the size of Samsung's Buds.
