Posted .Hi arsh,
We're glad that you like the noise canceling function of the headphones. Your feedback about its fit is greatly appreciated. For the best fit and comfort, make sure that you are wearing the headphones properly. Size M earbuds come attached to the left and right sides of the headset at the time of purchase. Change the earbuds to another size to comfortably and snugly fit your left and right ears. Twist the headset to slide the earbud deep into your ear. Hint: The earbud will be easier to slide deep into your ear if you pull up on the top of the ear lightly while twisting the headset.

We hope you continue to enjoy the amazing features of the headphones. We designed these headphones to provide incredible sound and noise cancellation in a compact, stylish, truly wireless design. The Sony | Headphones Connect App includes Adaptive Sound Control—which automatically adjusts noise canceling to your surroundings and an equalizer—which can be customized to fine-tune your music. And with all-day battery life and a quick charge, they are meant to deliver a truly immersive listening experience, wherever you go. Thanks for choosing Sony!

Great set of earbuds!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.these are some of my more expensive earbuds but definitely worth the price. They pair easily with my devices and sound great for listening to music and the call quality is great also. I've not had any problems with them not fitting in my ears and the battery life is good on them too. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend these to others.

Almost perfect
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are comfortable and work well. If I were to have two wishes, one is that I'd wish they were better about keeping their bluetooth connection. They tend to drop for a second and then come back which is kind of annoying. The second wish is that they could produce more robust bass. I was able to EQ it and improve, but I would like more. They've very comfortable to wear and I rarely feel like they may fall off my ear. The case is nice and has a charging system I like a lot. I'm happy with my purchase.

Amazing fit, sound, and functionality
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love these headphones. I purchased to have the earbud version of my Sony over the ear ANC headphones. These give the same great sound quality and almost equivalent noise cancelling. The app to allow customization of the sound also works very well. I use these daily for my workout, and battery life and connectivity to my device have been rock solid. Highly recommended.

Bought two brand new pair and both failed
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.after buying two of these I experienced the same issue within weeks of owning them. The unit would disconnect and reconnect to my phone randomly while talking on the phone. Ive tried them on several different phones and had the same issue. For the price of these one would not expect to have this type of issue. Noise cancelaon is a joke. If you were to drop a pin on the floor the person on the other end would hear it. I spent more time turning them off and on trying to get it to connect without having static or distortion. Battery life is pretty good although it does become annoying having to go through the menu, change head phone settings just to use the fully charged bud. Music quality is good. Could be a little better but I liked it. Ear fitment is great. I have small ears and didn't have to keep adjusting due to them slipping out. NO!!! I would not suggest to a friend and definitely wouldn't buy them again.

Left bud constantly disconnects for no reason.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are not worth the cost. I unfortunately misremembered my return window trying to give them another chance and am now stuck with them. I started out trying Samsung buds+(beans) and while I loved the sound of those my ears were in extreme pain so I upgraded to these Sony buds hoping they would be even better. Fit: These come with a bunch of different tips. The main ones fit me fine and I don't mind the bit of the buds that sticks out. I'm not really picky about the look as I mostly want them for at home use. After a while the seal starts to feel insanely pressured and gives me headaches. Yet if I try to just do some very simple stretches gravity will pull them out. So I'm not even using a tip that is extremely tight. The pressure from the suction just may not be for me. Call/mic quality: This is what I mainly wanted them for and I can hear others loud and clear within the capabilities of their mic. I've asked my bf who I speak to on these the most about my quality and he says its great. Audio quality: I may just not like the in ear buds in general, but I never noticed an issue with in ear buds before these wireless ones. I feel almost like I'm listening to something in a small room, but the quality is good and when music is on external noise is filtered well. When no music is on and I'm between calls the active noise canceling actually makes things feel amplified to me and it all sounds weird and tinny. Maybe this can be adjusted in settings, but I was not having an easy time with the app. OTHER: ***Here is the reason for the negative review. *** -The touch sensitivity is way too sensitive, but I could look past that as pushing a button in your ear could be equally frustrating or eventually painful? I can learn to clip my hair up just to use the headphones even though I think that is ridiculous. -Even worse....ONLY the left bud connects to anything. This means I HAVE to use the left bud to use the right. If I take the left off and set it down its inactivity will eventually disconnect the right as well and put both into a sleep mode disconnecting them from my call. I dread the day I accidentally lose the left rendering the right completely useless. Maybe this is in app settings somewhere too? -If I try to just keep the left bud active and out of my ear (for some pressure relief or to hear my dog) I will probably hit the touch sensor when moving it around which also disconnects my call. -WORST OF ALL....these headphones DO NOT actually function at the distance they say. I can hardly move 20 ft with nothing blocking my path between me and my phone before they may disconnect.....and the left bud randomly disconnects multiple times a day. As I said before the left bud is the one that must stay connected during the entire usage. So if im in a call with my hair up, sitting right next to my phone, and with both buds in my ears not being touched at all the left will randomly disconnect. I can then hear the call in the right bud, but have to take my left bud out, put it in the case to disconnect and reset it, take it back out, and then reconnect to my call. All the while....I cannot speak on my call without the left earbud being connected. So people are just saying "hello...hello...HELLO???...." (heard via the right bud) over and over again and there is nothing I can do until the left bud takes its time to disconnect and reconnect with my manual intervention. So...choose something else that is cheaper. I chose these at the recommendation of the Best Buy employee who said he loved them and they worked great. Maybe for him. Maybe I got duds. This is a HUGE waste of money and will only lead to frustration. Also their app is so much more confusing than the Samsung buds+. I wish those would have fit my ears....

Posted .Hi Wanted2HearConferenceCall,
Thanks for sharing your experience so far with your new WF-1000XM3 headphones.
While we're glad to hear you like the sound and call quality , we regret to know that you're having Bluetooth disconnection issues and constant pressure on your ears after a few minutes of use. We value your input and appreciate the feedback. The WF-1000XM3 comes with different sizes of earbuds to ensure there is a great fit for all ear sizes and an optimal noise canceling experience. As a suggestion, to reduce discomfort while wearing the headphones, try to use the right size according to the size of your ears. When wearing them, please gently pull on the top of your ear as you twist the earbud into your ear. This should give you a firmer hold and better noise canceling experience.
- When using only one unit of the headset, you can remove one unit from the charging case and use it by itself. In this case, only the unit that has been removed from the charging case will turn on. When you put on the other unit of the headset, the connection between the left and right units is established automatically, and you will hear the music or other audio on both units of the headset.
- For the touch sensor issue, simply restart (power cycle) your headphones to recalibrate the touch sensors. Set the headset into the charging case and close the lid of the charging case, and then remove the headset from the charging case to connect the headset to the Bluetooth device.
- For Bluetooth connection issue: The WF-1000XM3 has a new Bluetooth chip and an optimized antenna design to provide a stable connection for hours of wireless streaming. To ensure you get the best Bluetooth connection, please set the headphones Bluetooth Connection Mode to “Priority on stable connection”, ref https://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/wf1000xm3/v1/en/contents/TP0002289921.html
- Resetting and initializing may help with the troubleshooting: https://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/wf1000xm3/v1/en/contents/TP0002289925.html

Sony Headphones (Great Buy)
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went from the iPhone back to Samsung, so when I got rid of the iPhone and AirPods I purchases the Samsung Earbuds, I received nothing but complaints about my voice being muffled all the time, that being said the sound that I heard from the Samsung Earbuds were great. So I ended up purchasing the Sony headphones and love them. I just wish I did not have to go into the headphones app to always move around what ear Google Assist is on, since I only use one headphone at a time. That would be my only complaint.

||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It hurt my ears when I first wore it, but then after a while, I would say a week, it starts to get better and now I’m comfortable wearing it. It’s all about the tips guys, so make sure you spend time trying all the tips that come along inside the box to find your best fit. Sound quality is, well, Sony has never disappointed me. Despite the initial comfort, my ears would get hurt if I wear them for too long, like 4+ hours. Maybe that’s how these types of earphones are when they snuck deep into your ears?

These saved me from quitting my job!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these WF-1000XM3 to cancel the noise from a particularly rowdy office mate which almost tempted me to resign from my position. Originally I had my eyes set on the larger WH-1000XM3 headphones but it turns out my workplace has a rule preventing use of headphones during work hours, but earbuds are fine, so I bought these instead with great expectations. The noise cancelling was phenomenal. Sometimes I can no longer hear anything from their cubicle, which was right beside mine, so I had to look if they were still there, and they were! It's just that I can no longer hear them anymore. The sound quality was really good, especially the bass which is so rumbling and thumping, which is to be expected from Sony. Connecting to the phone was also easy and the Bluetooth link is stable without any dropouts during the two months of my time using these. All in all I'm very satisfied with this purchase and would really recommend it to anyone who needs small earbuds with amazing sound quality and great noise cancelling to drown out coworkers, commute noise and any other sounds that you might not want in your life. I know these are a bit expensive, so you might want to wait for a deal, but trust me, these are worth every penny you might want to spend on a pair of noise cancelling earbuds.
