They definitely kill the noises around me when in silent mode. I also have the other noise cancelling by Bose that also do a fantastic job, but the reason why I like these so much more is because they are wireless. I sleep with them on every nite. Can’t hear my husband c-pap machine. During the day I listen to music while doing other things around the house. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THEM

The auto noise canceling is annoying, so I turned that off and set it to manual. Otherwise, only complaint I have is, you have to use the Sony software to use these.

Those are excellent. 5/5. These went on sale and I decided they should be as good as the on ears. Not true. They are ok. The noise canceling is good. The sound quality IMO is so so. I had ear fatigue if I kept them in my ear for over an hour. They would lose signal once in a while. That may just be software. But the biggest issue was the poor battery life. Don’t states 6hrs of listening. I would say it is half that.

Sony provides different sizes of earbuds to obtain the best fit and prevent the headsets from falling out. You may select the earbuds that fit your ears the best and wear the headset correctly. People complain about muffled sound and can't understand me. Otherwise great headphones, good noise cancellation, very comfortable and easy to handle. However, for that price I expect excellent sound quality not just for music but also calls. Going to exchange them today and see whether the second pair is any better.

Best Earbuds I've Owned

Excellent ANC and a solid support app but I do wish the battery life was a little better and there were easier physical controls. Battery will let you down on a cross-country flight when you have ANC rolling but for normal everyday use these hit all the marks.

The WF-1000XM3 comes with different sizes of earbuds to ensure there is a great fit for all ear sizes and an optimal noise canceling experience. Please use the right size according to the size of your ears. When wearing them, please gently pull on the top of your ear as you twist the earbud into your ear. One thing i cannot stand is listening to my music or audible books and being able to hear everything but whats playing through my earbuds.
