Great but with disappointing battery life.

In contrast, I get the fully advertised five hours from my Jabra Elites with the equalizer turned on, while using the same feature on these buds cuts a full hour off their rated battery life. Also, one bud always runs out of battery at least 30 minutes before the other and it’s never the same bud. Disappointing.

They Fit!

The Airpods Pro do not stay in my ears well, despite trying all the different tip options. They tend to start sliding out of my ear canals after just a few minutes of use. The Sony WF-1000XM3 (long name by the way, Sony), are built to sit deeper in my ear canals and provide a tighter seal. And they sound great.

The sound quality is amazing. They work great with my apple products. I’m even able to connect these headphones to my Apple Watch and use these with Apple Watch (series 5) controlling music play with just the watch. I now keep these clipped on my belt for easy access when I’m out and want to hear music. The sound is also amazing!

Meh, they sound good, but not great for Apple user

I use Air Pods Pro and Bose over the ears. I was hoping for better noise cancellation and the AirPods Pro have better noise cancellation. These do sound better than the AirPods Pro. But if you are in the Apple ecosystem stick with the AirPods Pro they are much easier to use and just go to all the devices. These sound better but there is just too much to do to have a good experience on Apple. The other thing I hated was the case, it is god awful big and it doesn't feel like it would really hold up. I returned them. Apparently the newer Sony models offer better upgrades but they are pricey.

While we're glad you like the sound quality, we regret to know you're not satisfied with the noise canceling feature of the unit. If the size of the earbud tips does not match the size of your ear canals or the headset is not properly worn on your ears, you may not obtain proper sound qualities, noise canceling, or call performances with the unit. To resolve this issue, we do recommend changing the earbud tips to ones that fit more snugly in your ears. When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. The size of the left and right earbud tips may be different. If you're looking for an upgrade, we do suggest checking out the WF1000XM4. I hope you consider our Sony products in the future. Thank you for sharing your feedback. -Sam

A step above the rest

The Sony connect headphones app is great for EQ customization to really fine tune your preferred sound. On top of that the noise cancellation works well and is a fairly new feature being offered in truly wireless earbuds. Sony came out with a winner on this one.

Noise cancelling works pretty good, but gets annoying when moving from place to place. I was going to use these as a new headset for making calls for work, but for some reason if you don't stay still while talking the call quality is unusable. Was expecting a lot better considering the price. Would not recommend for anyone thinking of making calls while walking
