They sound great and the bluetoothvery stable. She uses them primarily for the gym; they're not IP rated, but as long as she isn't using them in the pool, sauna, or rain, I don't think it'll be an issue.

I even played with the size of the ear molds but it would continue to fall out no matter how many times i tried. I like the noise cancellation but I didn't like the disconnection for my iphone and the bulkiness of the case. I would recommend the airpod pros over the sonys... they are a little more expensive but the comfort is amazing and they dont fall out when I run. I like the Sound on the Bose Q35 better but the Air pods Pro meet my needs the best

They kept falling out of my ears no matter which ear tips I tried on. The sound was amazing and loved the phone app Sony has. I tried so hard to keep these ear buds but they just wouldn't stay on. So for this reason only I had to return them back.

The WF-1000XM3 comes with different sizes of earbuds to ensure there is a great fit for all ear sizes and an optimal noise canceling experience. Please use the right size according to the size of your ears. When wearing them, please gently pull on the top of your ear as you twist the earbud into your ear. This should give you a firmer hold and better noise canceling experience. If the earbud tips tend to come off or you feel that there is insufficient low frequency sound and a difference in volume between the left and right units, change the earbud tips to another size to comfortably and snugly fit your left and right ears. I hope you consider Sony for future purchases! -Carl

Secret to effective noise canceling is tight fit of earbuds into ear canal... try the all for markedly different experience. App is adequate. Certainly would like to control volume at the earbud but not a huge deal for my use.

The noise cancelling works well (tried them on a flight from Boston to Seattle). They sounds so good!

Great earbuds!

After buying and returning at least 10 pair of earbuds, I hit the jackpot with these. Most of them fall out of my ears and I’m afraid of loosing one. Good job on the Sony design! My only con; why did Sony build the case with a flat bottom so that the case can Stan up.

The noise cancelling works really well, too. Took some trial and error to find the right fit with the silicone caps but once I got it, I will never go back.

Great noise canceling, poor connection to phone

I use these for mowing and running heavy equipment and flying. The noise canceling is the best of any headphones I have owned. However often when I turned my head one ear, or both often would lose signal and briefly interrupt play. Some of the time the noise canceling did not return when the music did. I tried using them on two different occasions with the same results. This is with my phone in the front pocket of my bibs, basically directly under my chin. I don’t know if this was just a bad set or all of them would do the same thing. I use other Bluetooth headphones with no issues at all. I returned these and ordered the around the neck wired ones (WI-1000XM2) I’ll see if they are any better.

With that said based on limitation with it's form factor, I think this is still some of the best earbuds out there.
