Really great sound, constant firmware improvements is nice to keep pushing updates, great battery life in the buds and case. The buds are a little big, but not much of an issue for me. The thing bugs me most is the size of the case, just a bit too chunky for my pockets

They are nice true wireless, sound nice, comfy, and ANC is ok. Problem is, the Sennheiser true wireless 2 fit better, sound much better and have comparable ANC for $60 more and are well worth it. The sound is that much better. Try both and decide for yourself.

Sound quality is good though not quite equal to my wired in-ear models. So far, drop outs have been rare, but when they do occur, they are very brief (not more than about 1/4 second). The noise canceling seems to work ok, but I have no previous experience with which to compare it. The charging case is more compact than others I have and is nicely contoured to be comfortable in a front pants pocket. The wells in the case for the headphones are perfectly shaped such that the magnets pull them exactly in place to make perfect electrical contact for recharging them. For another brand I have, I sometimes need to manually adjust the headphones after putting them in the case. The app is intuitive and it worked fine for updating the firmware, but for normal use I don't always open the app. Initially they are comfortable, but by about 3 hours of wear, I feel discomfort enough to need to take them out to rest my ears.

I bought these on a $60 off deal. The have connected well. The app installed well. They fit OK but not secure and needs some readjusting sometimes. They sound mediocre out of the box so I need the app running to have a better. I like that I can change the button assignment but the resets won't work. I want "Stop/resume", "Noise cancelling on/off" and Google but this combination isn't possible. Keeping the button pushed while talking to the assistant is impractical especially while driving. The noise cancelling works very well like I expected form Sony. The playing stops and starts when I take one bud out and put it back in but it is screwed up when I take both out. The charging cradle needs work. There should be an indicator for the charge level so I don't have to use the app. But you will break you finger while taking the buds out of the cradle.

[Comments on the Fit] So, initially I was not thrilled with the fit of these earbuds. They began to hurt my ears and the noise cancelling was not that effective. However, it turns out I was wearing them wrong all along. Once you learn how to put these things in your ears, they are comfortable and block out a lot of sound! I have to stress that the experience you have with these headphones heavily depends on your fit. If they are not sealed, the sound will be tinny and the noise cancelling will not do anything. So, if you are not satisfied completely, I recommend trying all the included ear-tips and maybe some third party ones to find the right fit before you make final judgments. There are many included ear-tips, and I settled on the ones that came on the earbuds. [How to Wear] Grab the correct earbuds for your left and right ear. Position the earbuds so the microphone hole is facing downward. Then, align the ear-tips with your ear. Then, twist the earbuds while rotating the microphone up to get the seal. When it's finished, the earbud should be angled downward but not at a 90 degree angle. There is a tutorial included in the app that gives you those exact instructions through a handy little animation. [How to Test the Seal] The best way to test the seal of the earbuds is by going to a room where there is a mildly loud, droning, fan sound. (air conditioner or bathroom fan) Turn on noise cancelling and adjust the headphones to a position in which the sound is heavily masked by noise cancellation. Then, you can remember this position so you know which position to put the earbud to get the best seal on your ears. [Smart Features] I was pleasantly surprised to find out that these headphone have absolutely great Google Assistant integration. I did not buy these headphones for that reason, but I really enjoy having it! These are the exact same as Pixel Buds in terms of functionality. You'll get notification chimes, Assistant can read off notifications, you can reply to text messages quickly and easily, you can integrate Assistant with many music services and ask for songs right from your earbuds, you can even use that fancy Google Translate feature that everyone made a big deal about with the Pixel Buds. The Assistant is SUPER responsive and you never feel like you're waiting for a chime or response. It all feels super great and it means you can use assistant for things like play, pause control and volume control. (these earbuds lack volume control through the touch-pads on the side). I've found myself just leaving my phone on a table somewhere and not touching it at all through my listening experience because I can just ask the Assistant. [Signal Quality] There are two options in the app for signal quality. You can either select "Priority on Sound Quality" or "Priority on Signal Quality". I selected "Priority on Sound Quality" and that's how they've been since I got them. My phone supports Bluetooth 5.0 and some devices only support Bluetooth 4.0, so that may make some people's experiences different. I, however, had no signal loss at normal distances from my smartphone. In fact, the signal carried considerably well through many walls. I only had stuttering when I was on the complete opposite side of the house. Needless to say, sometimes I forget that my phone is far away because the excellent and extremely useful Google Assistant integration.

Despite Sony offering many options I could not find tips that made these fit well. That's never happened to me before. I used these on two cross country flights and found myself continuously fiddling with them to regain a fit that produced a seal. I would never wear these on a walk or to go shopping. They've been sitting for 3 weeks. I just tried again to get happy with them and was immediately reminded why I never will. The sound was really good. The battery life was as advertised. The ANC was hardly noticeable - especially as compared to my Bose 700s. The call quality (I'm told by my wife and by my business partner) was awful to the point that they wouldn't talk with me but that's only important if you want to use them for calls.

These are great. Comparing to airpod pros, the noise cancelling is better and the battery life in both the case and the actual earphones is also better. They're not very pretty though, theyre bigger then the airpods and dont sit as well in my ears. I still prefer them. What I don't like is that you cant just use either earphone individually. You can only use the one that is assigned with the google assistant by itself. You can however reassign the assistant to the other earphone and then proceed to use that one by itself. Its tedious and can be fixed with a software update.

Not for working out, not for bike rides, but perfect for trains, planes, and Uber rides. The noise canceling is not as strong as the big brother Sony WM, but how could it be? The size, comfort, and strong battery is a winner. I use them everyday here in NYC. If you want LOUD wireless buds, go with the Beats PB Pros. But for a balanced sound that knocks out the babbling heads for a train or bus ride, you can’t find a better choice.

I have a good number of headphones, Sony, Beats, Bose, etc. So, I figured I would give ear headphones a try. I wanted some that were noise canceling so I decided to give these a try. I am still getting used to having these things in my ear. The sound for me is good and I noise canceling is pretty good. The bass is adequate as well. They are a bit pricey, but the quality is good, and it has some nice features. I plan to use them as I work out. They are not completely water proof though so I will be mindful of sweating. If these are in your price range, I would suggest that you pick them up. I hope this helps.

I use earbuds when working out. Expect good sound and that they work as advertised. Purchased my first set of bluetooth earbuds 3 years ago. Purchased jaba, Bose and Sony WF1000. All had their weaknesses and strengths. The Sony WF1000Had the strengths that mattered to me....sound quality including staging, fit for sound and noise blockage and overall comfort. Only real problem with the WF1000 was the mechanical double lock charger Recently it came time to purchase new earbuds. Tried the Sennhiesser Momentum Top of the line Bose and the WF1000XM3. From sound perspective the Sennhiessers were the best. However they and the Bose earbuds were distant seconds to the Sony WF-1000XM3. touch controls were overly sensitive. Fit and background noise blockage were poor. Equalizer noise canceling app were lacking. while the Sony’s were are in all aspects better than prior model and its primary competitors

Great when it works - setup is a pain

This is an amazing set of buds. But it's a pain to setup. I also got my left bud "bricked" where it wouldn't respond. I had to troubleshoot on the Sony website, looking up the manual (which isn't included in the package) and had to factory reset the buds. After the factory reset, it worked again. Apparently, even after charging overnight (first charging), it didn't charge correctly. So charging again, it finally worked. But the fitting is also a pain, as I've had them fall out of my ears just walking. I had to use a large for my left and medium for my right. The app is also a pain, as it randomly controls the volume and then the adaptive noise cancelling. I eventually turned off the adaptive noise cancelling and then it finally works. So when it works it works really well. Noise cancelling is really good, sound quality is rivaling over ear headphones. But getting it to work is a chore.

The Sony WF-1000xm3 are amazing wireless headphones with a ton of features. The noise cancelling is very good, considering their size, and the fit is comfortable. Definitely a great option for commuters. The case is a bit large but the design is very nice. The app is simple and intuitive and gives a lot of options for equalization. I have not tested the battery life, but for everyday use I don't run out of charge. My only drawback is the automatic detection for adjusting noise cancelling is a bit disruptive - but this feature can be turned off. Overall, a great option!

My second pair, wanted to pair both to my Samsung 9+ phone, somehow it recognizes only one pair. Not trying to pair both at the same time. Fits well in my ears, can really hear the difference when tapping the left bud to activate noise cancelling, and wears comfortably. Great sound for all types of music. I have not try these on a plane yet. I will be able to test the Sony's next month. I like the buds telling you how much battery life is left when placing them into the ears. I have no problem with the battery life. My main buds when traveling.

The sound in these wireless buds are excellent. The features are top of the line. The noice cancelling did not seem to work any more than my other snug fit buds, but the sound was very crisp and clear, and has equalizer controls for your personal sound enjoyment. adding the hand waive feature to let in ambient noise was a great plus. Huge con: they would not stay in my ears. I even went as far to get a sport piece to help hold them in place. This caused two other problems; 1 case has no lock so they would not stay closed to charge and it’s a fit case so did not work well... 2 the tips cannot take any extra force as they compress. For the price these are not for me, I do not want to drop my $250 buds and break them because of a bad fit. If they will stay in your ears, these true wireless buds are hard to beat.

The Sony WF-1000XM3 is an excellent true wireless choice that delivers great sound with long battery life and noise cancelling performance. Working in a noisy office environment, the noise cancelling was the primary feature I wanted, but didn't want to wear over the ear headphones all day, so these were the perfect choice. the only complaint i have is that sometimes after taking the buds out of my ears, which pauses the music, upon replacing them the sound is muted. the only fix has been to power the buds off and back on. It doesn't happen every time, but it a minor nuisance when it does. Other than that these sound great, look great and the charging chase is well made. Oh, and the choice of 6 eartips is fantastic...especially the foam tips which i find more comfortable.

Before this earbuds I had everything Airpods, Wireless Beats Pro, Jabra Elite Actuve 65, Bose, Dynamic etc., but so far this earbuds works better here is why: I just want to say that that Sony kinda makes it dummy proud, when you open up the box there is a 3 step instructions and basically when you do a step you get into more to the box. Pairing the earbuds through Sony connect app, then in the App if you want to make it better you can. Do not expect that a kind of earbuds like this will get that experience without software to it. Inside the app you can tinker with anything you like, after you set it up the way you want it (ambient sound, voice assistant, treble base equalizer etc.) you never need to use that app. Noise cancellation 10/10. Same as the 1000-m3 over the ears. Sound quality for me seems pretty much the same as the over the ear version. The feel of it is amazing, it comes with 6 extra pairs of cup sizes so it would perfectly fit anybody !!! So highly recommended who loves good sound quality batter life, and beyond the best noise cancellation. Do keep one thing in mind, this is not a workout earbuds!!! If you looking for a workout headphone you are on the wrong place!!! And if there could be one change about this product is the usb c cable what they give is very short, so if i were you I would grab a longer usb c cable unless you have one already!

These are some of the best sounding true wireless earbuds I've purchased and tested. They are clearly very premium in build quality and features and work great on Android devices. However, I ultimately returned them for two reasons: they unfortunately didn't stay in my ears well enough (it seems I need wingtips for a secure fit and these don't offer them) and the noise cancelling feature, while cool, felt a but unnecessary. Headphones with noise cancelation fair better than earbuds that do this in large part due to the solid seal the tips create, which already block sound well. All in all, if they stayed in my ears better and perhaps were cheaper by losing the noise cancelation, I would have perhaps kept them. These are still clearly some of the best true wireless earbuds, simply not the best for me.

I do a lot of gym workouts and I gotta say, these are worth it. The noise cancelling alone let's me mind my own business. With a good charge time for both the buds and case, I dont worry too often if they're gonna die out on me. The quirk where you remove one ear bud and it stops the music entirely is a nice touch. I have a pair of Bose sound sport and they blow them out the water. I will say I still use the sound sport for more cardio workout like running or jump rope. The WF wont stay in that well with lots of cardio. Other than that, I'm a happy customer
