The foam on the Sony buds provides a much more comfortable and secure fit with my ear piercings. The sound is also phenomenal!

I already have the Sony over the ear headphones the 4th generation model and was sold on Sony as the superior sound over apple. these are awesome for working out and the fit is more comfortable and the bass is so much better. recommend to anyone who is looking for gym earbuds

Best Sound & Call Quality. Worst Controls & App

Ever since Jabra left the US market, i had been on a hunt for a proper replacement. Unfortunately Sony doesn’t have a solution. Pros: Sound Quality, both for music and calls. Noise Cancellation, Hear-Through is world class. Battery Life, gets me through the day. Surrounding Noise Sensors are world class. Cons: Janky Sony App, feels like it was created by kids. Haptic Touch Buttons, rarely works. No Voice Confirmation for actions. No Mute for Calls (dealbreaker). Overall, if you want the best sound, clearest phone conversations, and best sensory technology, these are the best in the business. Just the cons outweigh the pros for me.

Best pair of earbuds Ive ever owned

They charging case supports wireless charging and they feel very comfortable and snug nicely in the ear. They arent the easiest to put in and take out but once you get used to it, they’re well worth the price. Would definitely recommend. Loved my soundsports before these but like these a little more.

Excellent quality and you can charge the earbuds in the case, u get a bit longer use on the go with no power source I also like the fit of the foam tips it has from ssmall to large you'll find your size, they won't easily fall out.

Smart earbuds with great sound

These earbuds are just that in a small package. They check all of the boxes for todays earbuds. Noise cancelling? Pass through audio? Adjustable EQ? Touch controls? Long battery life? Rechargeable case? Bass that rivals some over the ear headsets? AI driven personal EQ finder? All yes. Worth the investment to me.

Great earbuds, but pricey

Apple Beats are nice as well, but abit overpriced. Samsung earbuds sound nice, but they don't last. So it was time to try Sony earbuds. Alright, using the sound connect software I was able to get the equalizer the way I wanted, and voice control working in a reasonable fashion. Again, they sound nice, are they the best sounding earbuds I've heard? No, higher end JBLs sound better, but these do sound better than my Apple Studio Beats earbuds. Now onto the negatives. Like I mentioned, these sound good, but only as good as JBL Tune 235s which sounds great BTW. Better than my JBL Endurance 2 earbuds. They sound better than my Beats, but not as good as my JBL Live 2 Free TWS. Those are about $110 cheaper on sale compared to the Sony WF1000XM5s. Summary: Overall build quality seems nicer on the Sony's WF1000XM5 compared to JBLs. Honestly, they're the 2nd best overall just right behind my JBL Live Free 2 TWS. All important question, are these worth the money? On sale, and you're a Sony guy (I own several over the ear Sony headsets) it's a yes. If you're new to high performance earbuds, go with higher end JBLs. You're not losing much, the software is good, and they sound great for the price. Overall, the Sony's are still a 5, if I did not have the higher end JBLS, I wouldn't be anything to complain about.

To make them sound better i have them over a year an there still sound great would buy them again

The only complaint is I wish that they could get louder in volume because I like my music at a loud volume but otherwise they have served good so far.

Battery life, ANC and quality are all amazing. Highly recommend.

Fast connectivity to different devices. The carrying case for this one is smaller than what I'm used to making me kinda scared of losing it. The case has an interesting gritty texture but overall great audio and great call quality. Fits very comfortable in my ears.

I feel they feel and sound much better than apple buds, and some with 3 extra sets of size tips so you can really get a nice feel. Use them for workouts, walks, when I’m shoveling, or when I’m doing projects around the house.
