I personally think you can get better from a different brand at a lower cost.

Mediocre fit ruins full package

Sony's Best Earbuds Get Even Better
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sony's newest top earbuds, the WF-1000XM6 model offer excellent sound and noise reduction and a lightweight but solid design. The Sony companion Sound Connect app, when used with the XM6's, offers a useful set of features, including a 10-band equalizer and should be familiar if you have used Sony headphones in the past. I recommend you download this app if you purchase these earbuds. The initial Bluetooth connection process was performed flawlessly the first time, and has been flawless with my additional devices as well. The out of box sound is very good, with a slightly bassy but mostly neutral overall. In general I prefer a somewhat boosted bass and a slight treble boost, and the equalizer in the Sound Connect app accomplishes this easily. The bass response is deep and clean with no distortion. The sound of the XM6's is clean and detailed, and I enjoy them immensely. The XM6's noise reduction is very good, probably the best I have experienced with earbuds. Once again, the app is very useful, offering different levels of noise reduction in different locations and scenarios. The wearability and comfort of the Sony XM6's is very good. I have worn them for several hours at a time with only a slight discomfort. The XM6's seem to be well sealed and have not fallen out or become loose in my ears. I noticed no pressure build up that some noise reduction systems seem to suffer from. The quoted battery life of eight hours seems reasonable, but I am actually seeing about 10 hours myself, but of course this will be different for other users. In summary, I can give the new Sony XM6's my highest recommendation.

Microphone issues.

Seems like a whooshing noise. This is after the 1.5 firmware update. The whooshing and the rumbling makes the earbuds unusable. Its like there is something going on 24/7 in them.
