In the box is the headphones, a charging case, a USB-A to USB-C power cord, instructional manual and extra silicone ear buds. First impression - The headphone case is tiny, like really REALLY small. (I own other Sony products and this is definitely the smallest product.) Design - The Sony WF-C700N (C7s) are a very portable, very sleek addition to Sony’s long list of headphones. Right out of the box the case is very small and light, as a woman with small hands it is even tiny in my palm. This is excellent for anyone with small pockets, but a bit worrisome as black cases this small tend to disappear inside large purses so be mindful. Comfort - The comfort is really nice, better than expected. I can wear them with my gamer headset over top of them and they are still comfortable. I have worn them to work and kept them in as long as there is battery life. Noise Cancelling - The C7s come with noise canceling, as well as a 360 reality audio feature. *The 360 audio feature is only for people that use Tidal, or another 3rd party app that supports Sony’s software. There is also a Headphone app that automatically requests to be downloaded on some smartphones. Sound - The overall sound is good, slightly higher than the bar one would expect from Sony. Clear and crisp, not to mention loud. Without the noise canceling, you can listen to someone talking right next to you which is convenient for if you want to keep them in your ears for a long period of time. With the noise canceling on, music about halfway volume is louder than even the wind rushing by if you’re driving a car with the windows down. Battery - The only and main downside of these headphones is the battery life; without the noise canceling it does last about seven and a half hours, but with it on they only last maybe five or six and with the case only having enough charge for one more full charge that’s ten-twelve hours of battery. Busy as I am, that normally means charging it on the way home from work if I haven’t had to charge them at work because they’d died already. I haven’t really paid attention to how long the case actually charges the headphones but I have put them in for 15-20 minutes and went from battery low to battery high. The case itself drains really fast and it will need to be recharged after you charge your headphones at least once. The app has a notification that tells you when the case battery is low and I felt like I got a notification often. Overall they are a nice pair of headphones, another nice addition from Sony as a whole and and great gift for a younger listener. I would give the headphones a 4 out of 5 (Cloud Nine, until they die) Would I recommend to friends and family? Sure, but I would make sure that they are aware of the battery life.

The Sony WF-C700n earbuds have surprised me in the best way possible. As someone who wasn’t a fan of my previous pair, the Beats Flex, I didn’t have high expectations. The Beats Flex had a significant flaw for me: I often use just one earbud, and the magnetic ends would catch on objects while I was working, which became frustrating. **Pros:** - **Sound Quality:** The sound quality on the WF-C700n is outstanding, with punchy bass that really enhances the listening experience. - **Active Noise Cancellation (ANC):** The ANC feature is impressive, effectively blocking out background noise. - **Transparency Mode:** Transparency mode is even better, allowing me to stay aware of my surroundings when needed. - **Value for Money:** These earbuds are packed with features, especially considering the price point. I got them on sale, making them an excellent deal. - **App Integration:** Downloading the app is essential as it fully unlocks the earbuds' potential, offering more customization and control. - **Fit and Comfort:** One of the biggest advantages is the secure fit. The earbuds stay in my ears, even when I’m working, and are so comfortable that I sometimes forget they’re there. **Cons:** - **Automatic Mode Switching:** The automatic switching between ANC and transparency mode tends to favor ANC too heavily, which can be a bit annoying. - **Charging Case Quality:** The case feels somewhat cheap and isn’t particularly impressive, although it does serve its purpose. Overall, the Sony WF-C700n earbuds are fantastic, and I would recommend them without hesitation. They have addressed my biggest concerns with previous earbuds, especially with their secure fit and comfort. Despite a few minor drawbacks, they offer exceptional value and performance.

it's nice, comfortable, great sound. but whenever i push on it to try to adjust it in my ear i always press the pause button or noise cancelling mode button which is kind of annoyinng. but don't mind too much

These headphones sound good - if I wasn't used to higher quality buds I might say these were terrific. There is a good bass sound, and other sound is acceptable, but the overall sound is not as crisp as I'm used to from other earbuds at a similar price. If there is one advantage of the Sony WF-C700N Truly Wireless Noise Cancelling In-Ear Headphones, it's that the fit is very comfortable (I may continue to use these earbuds regularly because they feel very good in my ears). There are three sizes of earbud tips included (one on the earbuds by default, which fits me fine, and two additional pairs, larger sized and smaller). The charging case has a USB-C port, and included in the package is a short USB-A to USB-C adapter, but it lacks the power adapter itself (chances are these days you already have USB-C chargers from other devices that should work with it). Like most other true wireless earbuds, the earbuds themselves hold a charge (7-8 hours), and there is a charging case that also holds a full recharge and can charge the earbuds whether it is plugged in or not. The noise canceling feature works well (blocks out unwanted sounds), but fortunately it can be turned on and off because I sometimes like to be aware of sounds around me when I'm wearing earbuds (i.e., if I'm walking outdoors and want to hear approaching vehicles). I do like these earbuds, but I'm not sure if I'd recommend them to a friend, it might depend on how picky they are about sound quality versus comfort.

At first glance these look like good quality Sony Earbuds and they are. The case is slim and easy to carry, big enough not to be lost easily but rounded and comfortable to hold and pack. Out of the box these sound okay with LDAC (as long as you only connect to one device), AAC, and DSEE, but these are very customizable, and for that you need the app. The headphones app allows you to control all sorts of things, although you will need a create or log in to a Sony account to do most of the custom programming. The App shows battery level of both the left and the right earbud, and of the carrying case (updated only when earbuds are removed from it). The Ambient sound control (passthrough, active noise cancelling) can be controlled manually or setup to be controlled automatically by setting up Adapative Sound Control (Sony account sign in required). You can manually tweak the equalizer and save custom settings or use a guided "find your equalizer" sequence, which works very well, but is still labelled "BETA" at this time. You can prioritize the bluetooth connection for sound quality (a codec is auto selected) or for stable Bluetooth connection priority. You can connect to 2 devices at the same time, but the switch on reminds you that LDAC will not work in that mode. You can change the button function on both left and right earbuds, default is Ambient sound control for Left bud and Playback control for Right bud. You can also select an auto power off after Bluetooth is disconnected, shortest time is 15 minutes, which I use. I initially found the amount of options a bit overwhelming, but I just did one each listening session, and I quickly have most of them setup. These are my favorite earbuds, they sound pretty darn good, the equalizer really does change the sound around for various musics and speech. The status screen for the app is very good, shows The headphone state, and what is playing, it shows the media controls from most apps, with play/pause and forward/back and volume control all right there on the screen. These truly hit the sweet spot for price and performance.

These are absolutely worth every dollar , i have buds 3 as well and purchased these after and all i can say is these blow samsung buds 3 (not Pro) Out of the water for far less money!

The Sony -WF-C700N Truly Wireless Noise Canceling In-Ear Headphones work well. The sound quality is good and the noise canceling is also good. Connecting to different devices is quick and effortless (you can even connect to 2 devices simultaneously). They come with 3 different sizes of earbud tips to get a good fit for your ears and they are comfortable to wear. The earbuds turn on and off automatically when you remove them from the case or after a period of disuse. Each earbud has 1 large button that is easy to find and push to control various functions by using different numbers of button clicks, the left 1 controls certain functions and the right other functions. It is possible to use only 1 earbud, leaving your other ear free. The charging case is small and compact (a bit bigger than my thumb). The case itself contains a battery that can charge the earbuds even when not connected to ac, which increases the potential use time of the earbuds when on the go. The battery life is good, I don’t use them all day long, so I can’t speak to that, but using them for a couple of hours a day the charge easily lasts a week or more. They come with a Sony headphone control app. I’m really not a fan of proprietary apps to control headphones, but in this case, the app is definitely not necessary to use and enjoy the earbuds and it does have some useful features, like being able to change the button functions on the earbuds and customize the equalizer settings. The app also allowed me to update the firmware quickly and easily. I also really like that I was able to opt out of the data collection in the app. Overall, these Sony earbuds sound good and work great.

These Sony WF-C700N earbuds have been a very pleasurable experience the past few days. Music, podacsts, movies, and games all sound fantastic on these earbuds. Setup was very easy. When pulling the earbuds out of the charging case, my S22 Ultra automatically asked if I wanted to pair with them. I then downloaded the Sony Headphone app, performed a firmware update, and I was off and running. In the app you have to ability to customize sound and buttons to your liking. So far I haven't messed with the EQ at all. These earbuds have a great snappy sound out of the box. They also have excellent noise canceling. One of the best at it that I have tried lately. I work at an automotive production plant, and it's very noisy, so noise canceling is very important to me. The WF-C700N's are also very light and comfortable in my ears. I wear them all day at work with no fatigue. I have fairly large ear holes, and with the large tips, they fit my big ear very well. Battery last all day at work. I generally get two 8 hour work days out these earbuds before I have to charge them. I have noticed that the left earbud has a small bump/petrussion on the top to easily identify the bud from the right side without having to look. I have a lot of earbuds, but these are my current dailies. I'm very happy with them. Likes: 1.) Sound great 2.) Comfortable 3.) Plenty of volume Dislikes: 1.) Button are very sensitive, lots of accidental presses from adjusting earbuds 2.) Noise canceling pops sometimes with loud noises. 3.) Noise canceling is disabled during phone calls, and no option to change this.

These work, they really work, but you absolutely have to be careful. When they're in and on, I can't hear anything except what I'm playing. Seriously, nothing else. This has to be the top when it comes to sound cancelation. If you have to hear other noises, kids, cars, etc., make sure you turn on the ambient noise. This is not a criticism, but a slight warning on the effectiveness of the product. If there's a crying kid on a plane, pop these in...sound gone. One cool feature Sony instilled is automatic ambient switching. If you choose to allow location access, the app will turn on ambient noise when in motion or in specific locations. So far, it has work fairly well in my usage, but not perfect. I'm sure they will update over time. Now, for the most basic feature needing review, the sound. In typical Sony form (my experience), they sound great. Excellent bass response, clean highs and mids with no distortion at high volumes, which by the way, I usually don't need to go too high to get comfortable listening. The app gives eq options, but I didn't need to switch anything as I loved the sound right out of the box. Same for the fit. Snug and comfortable right out of the box. Worn around the house and in the gym, same level of comfort often forgetting they are in. Battery is typical, and gets through several workouts without needing to charge up. No complaints here. In summation, great sound with excellent noise cancelation. Ambient switching is a nice feature, but needs minor refinement. But, they indeed serve their purpose!

I bought these in replacement for my SkullCandy Indy Fuel wireless earbuds after I left them on the back of my car. Out of the box is a mid-quality case for charging and carrying the earbuds, a few options for ear pieces that you can choose from, and the ear buds themselves. After using these for the past week I have noticed the noise cancelling feature does not do a thing and I prefer to use them with the features off using the app. Another issue I’m already having is the left ear bud has a rattling issue going on internally. Whenever I start to get past the halfway point, volume wise, they begin to rattle/static. These are not the most comfortable fit for ME personally as most earbuds fall out of my ear. That is the same case with these, if I move around too much they begin to slip out and lose their noise isolation. One other issue I have experienced is these earbuds use a click style button to switch between modes and volume control. If you have a habit of readjusting the earbuds you will constantly click that button which can become quite annoying at times. Don’t get me wrong, these earbuds have many awesome features, exceptional audio quality, and a user friendly app. For $130 that I spent in store, I feel they do not meet my expectations as I am already having defects with the left earbud. They have great volume and decent clarity but disappoint in bass and the noise cancelling feature. Long story short, if you don’t have issues with earbuds falling out they could be a viable option for you as long as you do not get a defective batch. For $130 I would look elsewhere and spend the extra money for higher quality earbuds or find ones that might be better at a lower price range.

The audio on these little ear buds is exactly what you would expect from Sony. I've had a pair of the 1000 series over-ear headphones since the first generation, and they are the best headphones I've ever had. The audio quality of these is right up there, but both the quality and the noise-cancelling are highly dependent on how well they fit and stay in your ear canal. I've never had much luck with this style of headphones staying in, and these are no different for me. They are great when I first put them in, and stay in well as long as I don't move around too much or eat anything. The battery life is as good as advertised. I've used these throughout a workday without any issue, and they recharge in the case over night. The controls leave a little to be desired, but are sufficient. You can answer calls, play and pause, or bring up the assistant on your phone, but that's about it. You can turn on/off the noise cancelling as well, though I've never seen much use in this functionality. If you're talking to someone, it's generally better/more respectful to just take them out of your ears...

These ear buds are very comfortable and well worth the price point. The store personnel were very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. It was a pleasure to shop at the Wheeling/Highlands store. Liam was exceptional!

The Sony WF-C700N wireless noice cancelling earbuds provide great sound at a value price. Yes, you can buy more expensive buds, but they will only give you a marginal improvement over these Sony models. These earbuds are remarkably clear sounding and you would think they are priced higher. If you didn't know that they cost in the low $100 range, you would think that $200-300 would be a more reasonable guess. Installation doesn't get easier than these buds. Just take them out of the case and you are automatically paired and ready to use. One of the plusses that most manufacturer don't want to advertise is that the magnet is quite strong in the case with this device, so placing them back in is solid. The fit in the ear is just perfect. I did not have to make any adjustments to fit perfectly in my ear. The only negative is that there are only basic instructions and a warranty included. To get more accurate instructions, you need to go to Sony's website. If you're looking for a solid set of earbuds with high audio capability, The Sony WF-C700N would be a great choice.

Unboxing the earphones you find the unit with case that charges, USBC cable and extra ear pieces. The number of earpieces should ensure a fit for just about everyone. My unit was in a mint grey which was neutral. The earphones were unassuming, and simple. The charging case was as well, with minimal needs. Earphones are held in place with magnets and they seemed just right. Not too strong or weak as with some cases. Charging seemed quick and uneventful. In the box was a picture instruction with QR code to scan. Set up and pairing was super easy, including taking you to the app which includes controls for the earphones, update info, and as expected Sony product information. I do like that there are software updates and relatively easy to install. Sound quality is excellent. Sound is clear and precise. Bass is not excessive and clean. Volume is good and can be adjusted to individual preference. Each earphone has controls and fit nicely in my ears. No feeling of falling out, or loose fit. Battery life seems excellent and as mentioned before, charging was easy and quick.

They are very good at noise cancellation. Sound quality is good. Neither is perfect, but I recommend them at the price.

I loved them at first, sound quality is great, enjoyed the different colors but now the left earbud has suddenly stopped working, won’t turn on whatsoever. Probably lasted 2-3 months but this seems to be a common issue. And then its hard to find replacement parts, especially if you get a colored version. I wanted to love these but I wouldn’t recommend.

They are pretty cool. Sound quality is awesome and when im talking on the phone, the other person can actually hear me. I also own a pair of galaxy earbuds and the beats and i dont see any difference with the 2. Atleast with Sony, you can control the sound quality( bass, tremble). These earbuds are pretty dope. Everyone is running to buy airpods, beats, galaxy, bose. Check out other earbuds and learn the specs like i did. The price is not bad. The sound quality withstands any other competitors

The noise cancelation is very well for its price the auido is amazing and the battery life is great too definitely worth buying if you dont want anything to expensive only problem i have is with how it fits it doesn't fit exactly perfect and can be a little loose so i worry that i might lose an earbud

I absolutely loves these earbuds, the first pair I had to return because they wouldn’t charge, but I got them replaced and they are awesome

I got these for work to listen to music and they last my while 8 hour shift.
