    There are much better for the money

    Please stop and read first. I purchased this set of Sony WFC700n/B ear buds from Best Buy on 5/31/2024 at the Baybrook location in Webster, TX. I have owned about 5 pair of ear buds over the years and this has to be by far the worst pair I have ever owned. The pairing is clumsy and inconsistent. The Sony app asks way too many personal questions for a pair of ear buds and wants to know your location to customize the settings. Really? Keep it simple with clean sound and a reliable connection. Also, as other have mentioned the buttons on the side of the earbuds are too too big and sensitive. Ambient noise setting just sounds like static. I tried hard to make these work consistently but couldnt. By the time I tried to return them it was too late. Best Buy suggested I should have bought an extended warrantly. No thanks. That would not make them work better.

      We regret to hear that you are not satisfied with the headphones. Your feedback is extremely important to us and is very much appreciated. For optimum performance, make sure that the software version of the headphones is up-to-date (via the Sony Headphones Connect app).

      If you are experiencing connection issues, set the headset to “Priority on stable connection” on the Sony Headphones Connect app. Bluetooth communications may be disabled, or noise or audio dropout may occur under the following conditions:
      -When there is a human body between the headset and the Bluetooth device
      In this case, moving the Bluetooth device closer to the antenna of the headset may improve the Bluetooth communications.
      -When there is an obstacle, such as metal or a wall, between the headset and the Bluetooth device.
      -In places with wireless LAN, where a microwave oven is used, electromagnetic waves are generated, etc.
      -Where there are other wireless communication audio devices or other people nearby, such as in train station premises or on a crowded train.

      When using the control functions of the headset, make sure that you are pressing the buttons correctly. You may find this link helpful:

      If the headset is not worn properly in your ears, the Ambient Sound Mode may not work correctly. Twist the headset to put it into your ears properly. Depending on the surrounding environment, wind noise may increase when the Ambient Sound Mode is turned on. In this case, set the Ambient Sound Mode to OFF. If the Ambient Sound Mode is enabled in a rather noisy environment, a noise may be heard. This is not a malfunction. In this case, set the noise canceling function to ON or set the noise canceling function and the Ambient Sound Mode to OFF.

    These are by far the most comfortable earbuds i ever used nobody can hear me in phone calls. Pick up the jabre elite 4 instead

Fit the earbuds to your ears firmly. If the earbuds are not worn properly and do not fit your ears, the phone call quality may decrease. To maintain quality, consider these factors:

      • Make sure that earbuds are worn properly
      • Select the earbuds that best fit your ears
      • Make sure that the earbuds' microphone and your ear are not in contact with each other.

    requires app. cannot use with laptop and more...

    Unbeknownst to me, these headphones require a proprietary app installed to work. This makes the usefulness of these very specific, and may work for some. But if you want something that's quick and easy to pair via bluetooth, across all devices, these will not suffice. Otherwise they sound great and work if you only pair to (up to two) of your mobile devices.

    Left volume not same as right

    The volume on the left earphone stopped working. It still controlled volume for the right but they weren't the same then stopped working. Best Buy replaced them as they were under warranty, but the second set did the same thing after 4 months.

Please allow us to help you and turn this into a better experience. For optimum fit and comfort, make sure that you are wearing the headphones properly. You may find these steps helpful:

      -Put the headset unit with the (left) mark into your left ear and the headset unit with the (right) mark into your right ear. The left headset unit has a tactile dot.
      -Adjust the fit of the headset to your ears. Twist the headset unit to slide the earbud tip deep into your ear canal.
      -Change the earbud tips to ones that fit more snugly in your ears. When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. The most suitable size of the earbud tips for left and right ears may be different.
      -Wear the headset so that the earbud tip is comfortably situated as deep in the ear canal as possible.
