For optimum performance, make sure that the software version of the headphones is up-to-date (via the Sony Sound Connect app).
If the size of the earbud tips does not match the size of your ear canals or the headset is not worn properly in your ears, you may not obtain the correct sound qualities, noise canceling effects, or call performance. If any of this is the case, try the following:
-Change the earbud tips to ones that fit more snugly in your ears. When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. The most suitable size of the earbud tips for left and right ears may be different.
-Check that you are wearing the headset properly in your ears. Wear the headset so that the earbud tip is comfortably situated as deep in the ear canal as possible.
Additionally, you can use the Equalizer/CLEAR BASS setting of the Sony app to fine-tune the sound quality depending on your needs.

Good bang for buck

Good features that work well. Reliable with no issues experienced. I recommend them, but just started using ear buds so cannot compare to others yet. I purposely spent a little more money to to receive a good performing product, along with reliability tied into it and it paid off.

Great sound and have been very happy. Jump forward to April 2024 when on a dog walk one fell out and I did not notice. Retraced the walk many times over a three week period and could never find. Yesterday my son spotted it. It has been rained on, snowed on for 3 weeks and still works perfectly. Amazing product

For me personally after a long period of use I would get ear fatigue and my ear would start to hurt. Although the sound is great, I love Sony headphones/earbuds. The case has a good charge and I like the magnetic pull when you put the buds in the case. I got mine on sale for $100, you can’t beat that price for this quality. Very crisp, clean sounding earbuds. Another con about them for some reason with my right ear it felt like they would slide out a bit. they never actually did, but I always had the urge to push them back into my ear canal. I also loved how you can connect to multiple devices. If I would play something on my iPad it would automatically connect. When I would play something with my phone it would recognize I am using my phone and connect to that. Awesome feature!!!

The notice cancellation works perfectly. The only criticism I have, which is 100% subjective, is the case's material. To keep it light, the plastic feels cheap.

Amazing ANC, features from review models removed

The ANC works so well I thought my lawnmower had stalled! The sound quality is "okay", but much better than I was expecting. Compared to the $50 MPOW ANC earbuds I replaced, the lows are better, but the highs/mids are "muddy". Also, some of the detail is missing (compared to the MPOWs)...probably since these earbuds don't support aptX. There is some false advertising with the features and they don't seem to match product reviews. Review articles mention features that do not exist (adjustable ANC levels for example). It appears that Sony only included those features in the firmware of the models set to product reviewers; they don't exist in the latest consumer firmware. The ANC is not configurable at all and cannot be turned off. The only options are ANC or Ambient Mode. Ambient Mode is just ANC while using the microphones to send some outside sound to your ears. Battery life would probably be a lot better if you could turn off ANC.

I bought them mainly for working out, so they fit that bill nicely. They stay in my ear with mounted tips just fine. Like every other IEM, yes you have to push them back in occasionally during activity. If I lose them which is pretty easy to do, I'm not out the $250 that the premium ones cost. I honestly haven't used the app that much. Is it annoying to have to load and set that up? I suppose but in the big picture it didn't bother me. The sound is fine even without setting the equalizer. They have plenty of bass at flat EQ and a laid-back sound which I appreciate. They sound a hell of a lot better than cheap wireless earbuds. The noise reduction works surprisingly well as compared to my Bose QC25. They also pair well with my iPhone 14. The talk feature isn't that great but who cares. Take one out to talk. Are there better ear buds out there? Yes. At $99? No, not that I have found.

I use it daily and only have to charge the case every other day. Sounds great and the noise cancelling is noticeable.

Sony WF-C700N Ear Buds

The noise cancelling is the best of any earbud I've used so far though. My coworkers will often scare me at work because these things are too good. Shoutout to the teenager that helped me buy these! When I asked him if there's anything I should be aware of he said nope, and then after I paid for them he said "well the microphone quality is bad but you have a 30 day return window!" Too bad they started acting up after 30 days. Bad Best Buy customer service on this transaction and I've written to Sony about them. Spend the money and get the next step up for better earbuds.
