The different modes based off of your location, walking speed, customization of what the buttons mean, these cant be beat. Love the sage green, such a beautiful pop of color. Great array of sizes to fit anyone. Love how small the headphones case is, I bought a silicone sleeve with a carabiner to carry it on my person.

There are better options

Then a setting changed the profile and they sounded lousy. I have a $7 pair of wired earbuds that blew these away at that point. I could not figure out how to fix it. Hard reset did nothing. After 2 hours, I gave up and returned them. The Sony app was the worst of 3 different brands I recently tried. There is this photograph your ear function that was supposed to individualize the sound experience and make it great, but it did no such thing for me. To take full advantage of the best sound, you have to use TWO different Sony apps?? That was weird.

Bought for a trip to the bahamas.

They are great. I used them on the airplane while watching movies on my tablet. They block the outside noise very well. I use them while working in the yard as well. Even with heavy yard work and sweat they still work great and sound fine. Cuts the sound of the chainsaw as well. With the app through the playstore , you can setup the buttons customize them to your liking. For what they cost i think they are a great item and I would recommend them to anyone.

Good buy for the money.

I bought these to replace some Samsung Galaxy buds and I think these sound significantly better. The trade off is the noise cancelling is not as great or as effective. Given the price difference and the much more usable phone app in the end I would go with these again over the galaxy buds.

Posted .Hi Luap, We regret to hear you are having noise canceling issues with your headphones. We’d love to help you troubleshoot your problem. If the size of the earbud tips does not match the size of your ear canals or the headset is not worn properly in your ears, you may not obtain the correct sound qualities, noise canceling effects, or call performance.
If any of this is the case, try the following.
-Change the earbud tips to ones that fit more snugly in your ears. When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. The most suitable size of the earbud tips for left and right ears may be different.
-Check that you are wearing the headset properly in your ears. Wear the headset so that the earbud tip is comfortably situated as deep in the ear canal as possible.
-When the Adaptive Sound Control on the Sony Headphones Connect app is turned on, the wearer's actions, like walking or running, are detected. The noise canceling function is automatically adjusted and the Ambient Sound Mode may be activated according to these actions.
To make the most of the noise canceling function, turn off the Adaptive Sound Control, and try to turn on the noise canceling function manually when you need it.

Good earbuds (I think)

I have Sony XM1000's and since I like those, I chose these earbuds. I have nothing to compare them to but the sound quality is good and noise cancellation seems ok but is not nearly as good as over the ear headphones. I guess I would recommend buying these.

Only downside is that sometimes the earbuds will be in their case and they’ll automatically connect. This causes me to not get notifications on my phone.
