Always Loved Sony

So they must work pretty well, and she hasn't complained yet about the fit or security. Probably a better buy than the Samsung Buds Pro 2

Great. Comfortable and 8+hour on one charge

Had 8 hour flight and these lasted whole time and some battery life left. Comfortable as I wore them for almost 8 hours, only had them out to eat. I had the illusion that they would totally block out noise. They just block out some of the noise so you don't have to turn the music up so loud but it was not completely silent like I thought it was going to be when the music was off. That's on me for not knowing what noise cancelling is intended to do.

The noise canceling function works primarily on noise in the low frequency band such as vehicles and air conditioning. While noise is reduced, it is not completely canceled. To make the most of the noise canceling function, turn off the Adaptive Sound Control, and try to turn on the noise canceling function manually when you need it. I use them as my Work earbuds and leave them in the office instead of hauling my AirPods back and forth. I must admit, I tend to prefer the Sony earbuds over the AirPods most of the time. Great noise cancellation, good sound, and nice bass as well.

Amazing ANC, features from review models removed

The ANC works so well I thought my lawnmower had stalled! The sound quality is "okay", but much better than I was expecting. Compared to the $50 MPOW ANC earbuds I replaced, the lows are better, but the highs/mids are "muddy". Also, some of the detail is missing (compared to the MPOWs)...probably since these earbuds don't support aptX. There is some false advertising with the features and they don't seem to match product reviews. Review articles mention features that do not exist (adjustable ANC levels for example). It appears that Sony only included those features in the firmware of the models set to product reviewers; they don't exist in the latest consumer firmware. The ANC is not configurable at all and cannot be turned off. The only options are ANC or Ambient Mode. Ambient Mode is just ANC while using the microphones to send some outside sound to your ears. Battery life would probably be a lot better if you could turn off ANC.

Secure fitting ear buds….finally!

Place them in and a gentle twist and they stay! They sound great with the moise canceling feature and the ambient sound adjustment. Sony WF-C700N Ear Buds

The noise cancelling is the best of any earbud I've used so far though. My coworkers will often scare me at work because these things are too good. Shoutout to the teenager that helped me buy these! When I asked him if there's anything I should be aware of he said nope, and then after I paid for them he said "well the microphone quality is bad but you have a 30 day return window!" Too bad they started acting up after 30 days. Bad Best Buy customer service on this transaction and I've written to Sony about them. Spend the money and get the next step up for better earbuds.
