These earbud were purchased to replace the apple ear buds that came with my IPhone . They eliminate the pull and tug you get from the apple earbuds while trying to walk and exercise. I have enjoyed the freedom you get and the sound is amazing. Worth the investment.

Bought these for running. No other earbuds have ever stayed in so well. The sound quality is excellent too! Definitely recommend these if you need wireless earbuds that stay in place during heavy exercise and sound great!

Purchased these NC ear buds primarily for air travel. Wanted decent sound quality and noise cancelling without bulky over the ear headphones. They performed well, easy to use (sync to mobile device), comfortable, held a charge for 2.5+ hours and recharged in slick travel case.

You can't beat Sony's sound quality. The active noise canceling is stellar on these headphones. But the build and shape are very strange. The case they charge in has no indicator to tell if it's charging or not. And the buds themselves have no touch controlls which is super frustrating for the price of these. I ended up returning them and going with the Samsung Galaxy buds because of that.

The ear buds that actually work!

I finally cracked and decided to buy these ear buds. Best money I ever spent on a set of wireless headphones and I've had a few. The headphones actually stay in compared to previous which wouldn't stay but for 5 seconds. They cancel out outside noise well and play sound like you're not even listening with headphones. It's like listening to a high grade stereo but you're the only one who can hear it. My only gripe though is that the case they come in is sealed with a swivel type lid. Not a good design especially if you drop it (which I did accidentally once). It breaks off immediately upon impact and it wasn't even a big drop either. Bad designing on Sony's part. Other than that I love these headphones! They are THE ear buds that actually work for me!

Both this for my wife she like the ear buds, likes the feel and the sound. Now the case and changing them and paring them is another story. Kills the product so spend the extra money and get the higher up model from sony if you going to buy them. Which Sony had a replacement charging case.

The buds sound very good and music clear. However, transfer between devices terrible. Requires shutting down on one device before it can be used with another. This is the only knock that I have but major because it is a headache to do when ipods do it seemlessly.

I really want to like these but the battery life isn’t what they say. 2 hrs at most on a full charge without noise canceling even after the app update. Fit and sound are top notch but there is no excuse for the battery life when it states 9 hrs. Going to return them.

I read many reviews before making this purchase. I wanted noise cancelling headphones but didn't want the bulk of over the ear or the high cost of some of the other ear bud brands. For watching videos and listening to music these are exceptional! The sound quality is great and the noise cancelling really works well. The battery life gets me through the work day while I charge the case. Ending the day they go into the case to charge so I am ready for another day. Only issue I have been told it's using them on the phone that I sound a bit far but that is not surprising seeing the mic location.

    Best True Wireless Earbuds Yet

Sony has pushed the envelop for completely wireless earbuds with the new WF-SP700N True Sport Wireless earbuds.  In terms of sound, the WF-SP700N are the best-sounding completely wireless earbuds I've heard. While they are not quite as strong and rich as their sibling SP600N earbuds, which have a connecting cable; they are still excellent with rich bass and a wide soundfield that can be customized via the companion app.  There are two weak points with the WF-SP700N earbuds. First, battery life is fairly meager at less than 4 hours. That's not super low, but it's not great, either. Given the bulk of these earbuds, I'd expect better battery, but it's liveable. The more annoying issue is the design of the charging box. It is amazingly frustrating to insert and remove the earbuds from the charging box. This is not my first rodeo; I've used a lot of earbuds that use a charging box. I'm not really sure how Sony managed to come up with such a poor design for the charging box, but they did. You may think I'm just looking for something to criticize, but this is actually a frustrating design that you have to interact with every time you charge the earbuds. And, given the relatively weak battery mentioned above, that will be fairly regularly. Despite those two annoyances, these are phenomenal earbuds. They sound amazing, resist water, look good, and fit comfortably. They come with a variety of tips, so you can customize the fit for comfort. They also come with two sizes of wings, so you can ensure they fit securely.  These earbuds are a little bulkier than some others, but they are not heavy or uncomfortable. I think they are attractive and very comfortable.  The battery life and annoying charging box are manageable. Otherwise, these earbuds are extraordinary. If you want a completely wireless set of earbuds that doesn't compromise on sound, I encourage you to invest in the Sony WF-SP700N

They have awesome sound, my only issue is they hurt my ears after wearing them for a bit, they didn’t come with small enough replacements. Didn’t really like that you have to download an app just to sync them to your phone.

I have owned the Sony over the ear headphones with noise cancelling (WH-1000XM2) and I absolutely love them. I bought a pair of Bose soundsport free wireless headphones and they broke, so I figured I’d try these headphones since I enjoyed the Sony headphones so much. I was very disappointed in these headphones. I’m not an audio snob, but you will clearly hear the static and cracking sound from the headphones when listening to most music which to me became very distracting. The “noise canceling” didn’t seem to do anything at all especially when compared to the above mentioned over the ear Sony headphones. Battery life was absolutely horrendous and didn’t seem to even meet the advertised 3 hour mark before having to recharge them in the carrying case. I was so disappointed in these headphones I returned them and paid the extra money to purchase the Bose soundsport free headphones. I’m not trying to sound like an advertisement and push you between one product or the other but I do not recommend these headphones and would push you to consider other options.

These headphones are great to use. However, I don't find that the battery last as long as product description, but honestly, I expected that. Other complaint is when you sweat a lot, they don't stay in your ears quite as much as I would like.

Sounds great, I mow the lawn and barely hear the mower with noise cancelling active. There is some bluetooth connection drop out every now and then, but my main issue is that the charge life on the battery is only 1 to 1.5 hours leaves much to be desired.

Excellent headphones / Charging Pod Needs Update

The Sony SP700N True Sports Wireless Noise Canceling Earbud Headphones are very stylishly designed (as far as wireless earbuds go) and come nicely packaged. They have two size of ear wings (they hook on the inside of your ear, not outside) and four sizes of silicone tips so you should be able to find a good fit for almost any ear. Unlike some other wireless ear buds, these don't stick out too far from your ear. I just find those make you look a little funny. One draw back (and not a minor one) is the charging pod that comes with the headphones and the only way to charge them. Initially, the design looks quite nice. However, upon use, the lid seems very fragile--especially the way in which it opens which is a horizontal swivel. There's also no way to determine the charge level of the charging pod or the headphones themselves except an obscure red LED on the back of the pod which only indicates whether it is charging or not. So good luck if you want to know whether there is 30 minutes of charge or 9 hours. As soon as you turn the power on, they'll pair up quickly and easily with your phone. As with most Sony products, these headphones produce a very nice quality sound. With the Extra Bass feature, they also pack a nice punch with bass. Most should like this for their workout jam. They also have good mids and high range sounds so your workouts will be clear and crisp. What's really key is that you get the right fit with the silicone tips so that the sound is all sealed in. Unfortunately, I felt that the noise cancelling was pretty unremarkable and useless. I have a pair of Sony's 1000XM2 headphones and they truly cancel the outside world. I realize these headphones serve a very different purpose, but I could barely tell that NC was activated. Ambient Noise does a good job of amplifying surrounding noise to allow you to remain aware of your surroundings which could be helpful in certain circumstances like running along a road. Battery time is rated at approximately 3 hours but will vary depending on your level of use and features being used. The charging pod holds 9 hours worth of charge so one full charge of the pod should keep your workout going even on an extended length vacation. The SP700Ns do have a 'quick charge' feature where 15 minutes in the pod provides 70 minutes of use which is always nice when you decide you need a last minute workout and forgot to charge your headphones. Overall, I think these are a good pair of sport headphones (sweat and 'splash' resistant. I always judge headphones based on their main purpose which is sound. I think these have excellent sound for the size and that live up to the Sony standard. As far as noise cancelling, not so much. I really found that feature to be pretty much useless but then again, I don't consider noise cancelling to be an important feature for sport headphones. The headphones themselves are designed well, but the charging pod could've use some more attention. I think most would be very satisfied with their purchase of these headphones and get a lot of use out of them. Pros: *Size/Design/Quality of the headphones *Battery Life *Sound *Price Cons: *Noise Cancelling *Charging pod design
