Very user unfriendly. Difficult to hear difficult to Connect

They don’t stay charged long and the sound is not good either

Doesn't last long and sound is that great to me. Had to go buy some different earbuds.

Compared these against the bose free. The quality was lower, build quality was lacking. Returned.

I found the SP700Ns to be good for a decent no-wires listening experience. While these are truly wireless (no cable between ears) they do suffer in terms of how long they can go between charges because of the battery size. Thankfully Sony has included a charging case, similar to other products in this category. It makes great use of the Sony Headphones app on my Android and the noise cancelling capabilities have 3 options, 2 of them allowing some ambient noise through and the third option kicks the noise cancelling way up. I found these an easy fit for my ears (they lack additional tips, but it wasn't an issue for me). I did have to adjust the positioning of the right side to get even sound, but I think it's just an issue with me and not the product. Where I feel the product lacks is somewhat on sound quality. Don't get me wrong, it's not that they don't sound clean across most frequencies. Where they lack that exact EQ setting you may want is within the Headphones app options. You have about 6-8 options and that's it. No custom EQ choices or standalone clearbass adjustments. Excited bumps it all the way up, Bright drops it below neutral to -1. These are not meant to be audiophile level earbuds, but they have enough features, sound quality, noise cancelling capabilities to put them above other products in this price range.

The audio lags the video when you’re watching on YouTube, for example. Couldn’t stand it and I thought maybe it varied per set. Looks like these all exhibit the same problem. This is my second Sony model that I purchased, been disappointed and returned. I really think they’ve dropped in their engineering and quality.

This product was not really comfortable to wear. It was a little too bulgy for my moms small ears.

First, the couple of cons I've noticed: The noise cancelling works, although it's not very strong (you can still hear a fair amount of noise) compared to some other brands. Second, wind noise can be annoying at times if you're on a bicycle or even just out in a strong wind. However, even with those minor issues I still like these ear buds and think they're worth every penny. Since they have no wires, they've stayed put in my ears no matter what activity I'm doing. They're water resistant so I don't have to worry about sweat or getting splashed. The charging case is small enough that it's very convenient to throw in my pocket or backpack so I always have them with me. Finally, they sound really, really good playing music. So, I'd say if you're looking for a noise cancelling option for outdoor activities, then these are a great choice. If you only want something to use on an airplane while you're sitting still, then there's probably a better choice (with wires) available that will cancel more ambient noise.

Volume output extremely low. Horrible sound. Not even with $40.
