It is recommended to switch the sound quality mode to Priority on stable connection mode which prioritizes the stable connection using the Headphone Connect app.

To maximize the effectiveness of Noise Canceling and to achieve optimal Sound Quality (particularly bass frequencies) it is important to minimize any gap that exists between your ears and the earbuds. Please choose the size of earbuds and arc supporters that results in the tightest seal. (Try the earbud sizes in order from larger to smaller.) A tighter seal may also be achieved by lightly pulling up on the top of the ear and twisting the headset as you place it in your ear. To achieve maximum stability select the size of arc supporter that fits comfortably and snugly inside your ear grooves. Thank you for choosing SONY. ~Earl

Trust me i love them for working out the sound quality is just superb. But for phone calls I haven't had a decent conversation with them. Everyone that I try to converse with on a phone call with always ask me whats echoing. So I always of to switch to my Galaxy buds+ for phone calls. If phone call quality wasn't so bad I would of gave it five stars instead of three. And if you want noise this is not for you

I'm doing downward dogs like I was right side up and these buds stay with me no problem as a good friend should. Oh, and the sound quality is great. But that's expected from Sony....

We're sorry to hear that we were not able to meet your expectations with the noise canceling function of the unit. If the effect of noise canceling is not sufficient, please check the following below:
Make sure that the noise canceling function is turned on.
When you feel the noise canceling function and low frequency sound are insufficient, change the earbuds to ones that feel more sealed.
When changing the earbuds, try the earbud sizes in order from the larger sizes to the smaller sizes.
The size of the left and right earbuds may be different.
Adjust the headset into a comfortable position.
The noise canceling function is effective in low frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices.
Check that the Adaptive Sound Control is turned off.
Check the setting of the Adaptive Sound Control on the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app. When the Adaptive Sound Control is turned on, the noise canceling function may become insufficient.

Great sound, but very uncomfortable buds.

Problem is they are extremely uncomfortable and they don't stay put in your ear and you have to be constantly adjusting them for the perfect fit and ear seal that provides that great sound. Tried all different sizes of tips and wings with no luck. Sadly, had to return them. I say sadly, because they do sound great, but couldn't deal with the uncomfortable fit. Go with the Jabra 75T Elite Active or the Galaxy Buds +.

Great Headphones for small ears

I have smaller ears and with the 4 sizes that come with these headphones I found the right size for me. The sound is clear and the touch features are fairly easy to use. I haven't set up all the unique locations yet, but plan on doing this in the next few days.
