The noise cancellation is subpar, and the microphone is terrible. The microphone doesn’t do a good job at filtering outside noise. I’ve had several people tell me they can hear EVERYTHING in the background.

To maximize the effectiveness of Noise Canceling and to achieve optimal Sound Quality (particularly bass frequencies) it is important to minimize any gap that exists between your ears and the earbuds. Please choose the size of earbuds and arc supporters that results in the tightest seal. (Try the earbud sizes in order from larger to smaller.) A tighter seal may also be achieved by lightly pulling up on the top of the ear and twisting the headset as you place it in your ear. One important feature to me is that you can use either the left or right side to make calls and there isnt one "main" headphone like other brands where only the right side can make calls. No, on these Sonys you can use either side freely. One extremely minor complaint is that the automatic location detection profiles are slow to update when you take these out of the case, but it truly is a minor thing. Noise cancelling is good but not perfect. Overall these are well-priced at $200, but if you can get them for $150 on sale they are a steal.

One of the ear tips popped off the ear ear hook and I lost it. It would be great if there was an outer ear hook option. Otherwise, they sound great and instantly connect. The charging case works great, too.

Do not fall out of ear easily. Noise cancelling feature is not as good as Bose. Features and app are neat but ultimately it comes down to sound quality and there it falls short. Adaptive feature can actually cause poor sound. Returned and bought Bose.

Not sure why any of them claim noise canceling since you would have to jam them down your ears for it to truly work. The headphones work great at noise canceling.
