First step is in charging the Sony In-Ear Headphones and downloading the Headphones Sony Connect App to register the device. Setup included taking pictures to analyze shape of right and left ear to get optimal sound from the streaming app. Easy pairing and Bluetooth connection out of the case that tells you ready plus charge percetage with battery being consistant with product quality. The Sony In-Ear Headphone Extra Bass sound is amazing and so true to live performance. I am able to experience the Sony 360 Reality Audio with its immersive audio system from my Tidal subscription which came with a 6 month trial free from my wireless provider. One tap on the touch sensor of left ear bud enables noise cancelling mode or adjust for ambiance sound The right touch sensor ear bud controls pause, I like if you wanted to have a conversation then you can pickup where you left off. The Sony In-Ear Headphones are sweat and water resistant. Location- based profiles set the scene for best music and sound whatever setting. Voice Assistant is alaways a bonus Ear buds disconnect as soon as they are removed from the ear or pair as soon as you take them out of case. Only minor cons I have with the Sony True Wireless Noise Cancelling In-Ear Headphones is that the ear bud case is not able to stand alone and the size of Sony In-Ear headphones is larger compared to other wireless ear buds.

I tried all three of the ear grommets and none of them felt comfortable. when you had the noise cancel on there was still loud outside noise. the sound quality was very poor. the bass was distorted and same with the treble. the product is not worth the selling price.

To maximize the effectiveness of Noise Canceling and to achieve optimal Sound Quality (particularly bass frequencies) it is important to minimize any gap that exists between your ears and the earbuds. Please choose the size of earbuds and arc supporters that results in the tightest seal. (Try the earbud sizes in order from larger to smaller.) A tighter seal may also be achieved by lightly pulling up on the top of the ear and twisting the headset as you place it in your ear. To achieve maximum stability select the size of the arc supporter that fits comfortably and snugly inside your ear grooves.

They are very comfortable, but does not cancel noise and the noise is unbearable. The person on the other end can't hear. We returned them to the store a week later

I have friends who have these and love them So it’s probably personal preference. When I tried to set it up the noise cancellation would never work. It kept turning on ambiance and wouldn’t turn off. Finally got it to work and then 15 minutes after using them it disconnected and when I reconnected the issue persisted. When they worked the sound quality was great but I’ll stick with my AirPods and over the was Sony noise cancelling.

If the headset is not worn properly in your ears, the noise canceling function may not work correctly. It is advisable to twist the headset to secure the arc supporter to your ear grooves and wear the headset properly.
Each time you tap, the function switches as follows:
The Ambient Sound Mode: ON > The noise canceling function: OFF/The Ambient Sound Mode: OFF > The noise canceling function: ON
