get Bose- these are uncomfortable and unreliable
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They fall out ALL the time and just not comfortable. Noise quality is good but one ear is already not working and just turns off whilst running- so irritating. Not happy, wish I had gone with Bose- my sports ones are still going strong after 5 years of intense use. Just got these because they have no wires and are water resistant. Btw, they are not.

Posted .Hi Redoyster,
Thank you for reaching out to us. While we're glad you like the noise cancelling features of the unit, we're sorry to hear the discomforts that you are experiencing with the headphones and issue on one of the earbuds. The WFSP800N comes with different sizes of earbuds to ensure there is a great fit for all ear sizes and an optimal noise canceling experience. As a suggestion, to reduce discomfort while wearing the headphones, try to use the right size according to the size of your ears. The size of the left and right earbuds may be different. Please choose the size of earbuds and arc supporters that results in the tightest seal. (Try the earbud sizes in order from larger to smaller.) A tighter seal may also be achieved by lightly pulling up on the top of the ear and twisting the headset as you place it in your ear. To achieve maximum stability, select the size of arc supporter that fits comfortably and snugly inside your ear grooves. To maximize the effectiveness of Noise Canceling and to achieve optimal Sound Quality (particularly bass frequencies) it is important to minimize any gap that exists between your ears and the earbuds.
If there is no sound or sound only from one side of the earbud headphones, please try some steps on this link that may fix the issue:

Posted .Hi Toad, we're sorry to hear that you have an issue with your SONY unit. You may check the audio settings of the Bluetooth device to make sure the sound is output from the headset during a call. Use the Bluetooth device to re-establish the connection. Select HFP or HSP for the profile. If the issue persists, initialize the unit. Place the headset into the charging case, leave the lid of the charging case open, then hold your fingers to the touch sensors on both the left and right units of the headset for about 10 seconds. Release your fingers within 10 seconds after the indicators (red) of the headset start flashing. The indicators (blue) flash 4 times, and the headset is initialized. I’ve adjusted them over and over again, tried the different size ear pieces, and nothing works. It goes away for a bit and then right back to clicking. I hate these things but I’m stuck with them.

I don't know what the purpose of these are.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Call quality is bad sound quality is okay. The left ear bud is the only one you can use independently. Unless there is a way to switch it to the right earbud and if there is a way I haven't found it. Complaints of a lot of static in my background and these things pick up all the background noise if you're on the phone call.

To maximize the effectiveness of Noise Canceling and to achieve optimal Sound Quality (particularly bass frequencies) it is important to minimize any gap that exists between your ears and the earbuds. To achieve maximum stability select the size of arc supporter that fits comfortably and snugly inside your ear grooves.
It is recommended to set the [Priority on Stable Connection] mode using the Headphone Connect app which prioritizes the connection stability. When connecting the headset to a Bluetooth device, use the headset at least 10 m (30 feet) away from the wireless LAN device.

We do apologize for the inconvenience. Please allow us to help you and make this a better experience. The earbud will be easier to slide deep into your ear if you pull up on the top of the ear lightly while twisting the headset. We also recommend you to our excellent animated tutorial in the Sony Headphones Connect App itself. The WF-SP800N animated tutorial in the Sony Headphones Connect App shows very clearly how to obtain a proper fit.

Don’t Work With Garmin Watch
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really wanted to like these but they would suddenly stop working when paired with my garmin venu sq watch. I own a pair of over-the-ear Sony headphones and those work perfect with my watch so I’m not sure what’s going on with these. I had to return them and spend more money to get Bose but those work fine.

Posted .Hi James, we're sorry to hear that you had returned your SONY unit. It is recommended to bring the headset and the Bluetooth device within 1 m (3 feet) from each other. If the headset automatically connects to the last connected Bluetooth device, you may fail to connect the headset to other devices via Bluetooth connection. In that case, operate the last connected Bluetooth device and disconnect the Bluetooth connection.

Posted .Hi Sqt436,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with the WF-SP800N. We're sorry to hear that we're not able to meet your expectations with the noise canceling features of the headphones. We'd like to troubleshoot and isolate the issue. Please try some of these steps if the effect of noise canceling is not sufficient.
Make sure that the noise canceling function is turned on.
When you feel the noise canceling function and low frequency sound are insufficient, change the earbuds to ones that feel more sealed.
When changing the earbuds, try the earbud sizes in order from the larger sizes to the smaller sizes.
The size of the left and right earbuds may be different.
Adjust the headset into a comfortable position.
The noise canceling function is effective in low frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices.
Check that the Adaptive Sound Control is turned off.
Check the setting of the Adaptive Sound Control on the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app. When the Adaptive Sound Control is turned on, the noise canceling function may become insufficient.
