Good fit

Great sound but the fit
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I understand all ears not the same. My previous earbuds I had to wear a large and medium these just come with a few and the sizes are odd, still minus this the buds are great! Sound is clear and not too heavy but do notice fatigue over long periods of listening. Sound is great! I only listen at half volume for safety and pass thru hearing helps a lot. App is a joke and constantly kicks my buds on and off. I set to my preferences and uninstalled app. Still good and do enjoy.

Posted .Hi Neztribe, we're glad you like the sound quality of our product. To maximize the effectiveness of Noise Canceling and to achieve optimal Sound Quality (particularly bass frequencies) it is important to minimize any gap that exists between your ears and the earbuds. Please choose the size of earbuds and arc supporters that results in the tightest seal. (Try the earbud sizes in order from larger to smaller.) A tighter seal may also be achieved by lightly pulling up on the top of the ear and twisting the headset as you place it in your ear. To achieve maximum stability select the size of arc supporter that fits comfortably and snugly inside your ear grooves. Sony takes into consideration all feedback to improve the performance and quality of our products and services. We're always looking to make Sony better. Great for jogging
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very pleased with these headphones as they won’t fall off while jogging. The noise canceling is very good. You literally can’t hear anything around. I was thinking of getting Dr. Dre but I am glad I went for Sony. For $50 less, I think I got a better product.

Its Doable
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoyed these headphones they work as intended. i purchased these for the gym and they work just fine. I would not say the have the best or the greatest noise canceling. The only thing I did find a little annoying is pairing with other devices if it was already paired to something else. I paired to my watch because i did not want to carry a phone. Even thought it was previously paired to my phone, i would have to delete and repair in order for them to work. Sound quality is good dont expect the top of the line XM3000 but you still get good quality sound.

Sounds great, easy to use.
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it as a gift for my mom, and these fit and stay in perfectly! It was very easy to setup, and they sound great. My mom has semi weird ears I guess? She got AirPods Pro and they wouldn't stay in her ear well, they would fall out often when she would be moving around the day. These haven't fallen out yet.

Capable but short on value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best thing about the Sony - WF-SP800N might be the app, which allows for a reconfiguration of the touch controls, as well as EQ, and adjustments for the noise cancelling and transparency. As far as the buds themselves, though... I believe there are better options on the market. The fit, at least for me, was finicky. The ear wings are supposed to help, but they never really worked for my ears. I was able to achieve a functional and reasonably comfortable fit after much fiddling around with the wings, different tip sizes, and then properly twisting them into my ears. That wouldn't be such a big deal for the first wear, but I found myself having to re-jigger the wings every time I wanted to use them. Also, after about 2 hours the wings started to dig into my ear cartilage, making them uncomfortable to wear. Fit is always a personal thing, so I won't make that a reason to avoid these, but it became part of a series of dealbreakers for me. The size of these things is a bit large, too, but that's not a huge flaw. The touch controls, though, were a problem. As an admitted profuse sweater, I will say that the touch controls on these were a bit too sensitive. So much so that I inevitably just turned the touch function completely off on both buds to get through a run. Be warned: the adaptive sound feature on these lives for your sweaty fingers or a towel to swipe the buds. Hearing the notification tone go off every time something touched the buds drove me nuts. The sound quality on these is alright. If you can be happy with the fit and touch controls, I think the sound here is rewarding enough to make them a buy. The EQ in the app helps, too, and I found the out-of-the-box/No-EQ sound profile to be relatively neutral with a nudge towards bass. If the ANC is the chief feature that you're after, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. It really isn't that pronounced or noticeable. And, frankly, why would anyone want ANC on earbuds intended for sports and working out? The charging case for these is kind of large, but it's livable. Wireless charging would have been nice, but it is not to be with these. An IP rating of 7 or 8 would have been nice, too. These are IP 5, which is a little disappointing for a sports-focused earbud. Taking or making phone calls on these was satisfactory indoors. Callers said my voice sounded a bit thin and distant, but otherwise okay. Wind and outdoor noise came through loud and clear, though, so I wouldn't recommend taking an important call with these while you're out on a run. In the end, I didn't hate these earbuds, but I wasn't convinced that they were worth the $150 that I paid (nevermind at $200). There are just way too many workout-focused earbuds on the market that you can buy for less than $100 that compete well with these Sony's and that in some ways surpass them on value and features. I returned these. Thanks Best Buy for the wonderful extended return policy!

Earbuds - Good Buy for the Money
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice! They are comfortable in your ear. The sound quality is good. They work well with incoming calls; although, voices seem louder, almost echoed. That could be dependent on listening volume. Only drawback - no plume control on the earbuds themselves. Guess Illhave to make an upgrade for that. Overall though, I’m pleased.

Your voice will be heard from the headset through the headset’s microphone (Sidetone function). In this case, ambient sounds or the sounds of the headset operation may be heard through the headset, but this is not a malfunction. Thank you for choosing SONY. ~Earl

These are it! Well done Sony.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have purchased and returned nearly 10 wireless earbuds. (All 10 purchases based on reviews (Unfortunately)). I say that because reviews should be an honest way to find the best of what you are looking for. These Sony headphones are fairly new so not many reviews out there. However, these are very close to AirPods Pro and Bose Soundsport Free, I say "close" because AirPods Pro are overall #1, Bose sound louder but at the expense of crisp sounds, Sony found the sweet spot but fell short on Noise cancellation vs AirPods Pro. So here is my 2 cents AirPods Pro (#1 but $250, Amazing sound and good NC), BoseSounsport (Loudest with +Bass $200 BUT no NC), Sony WF-SP800n (Perfect sound, less bass than Bose but HAS NC $150 ($50 off right now). Don't waste your time with others. If you can afford $250 go Apple, if you want to save and spend $150 go Sony, if you must have BASS go Bose.

They wasn't for me, i returned them after 1 full day of trying them out.

Posted .Hi Alex, We're glad that you like the sound quality and fit of the headphones. Your feedback about the noise canceling function and touch sensor is greatly appreciated.
The noise canceling function is effective in low-frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices. When you feel the noise canceling function and low-frequency sound are insufficient, change the earbuds to ones that feel more sealed. When changing the earbuds, try the earbud sizes in order from the larger sizes to the smaller sizes. The size of the left and right earbuds may be different. Check that the Adaptive Sound Control is turned off. Check the setting of the Adaptive Sound Control on the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app. When the Adaptive Sound Control is turned on, the noise canceling function may become insufficient.
Make sure that you are operating the touch sensor correctly. You may refer to this link for more information:

Ear buds that set securely in your ears
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love these! I do a lot of mowing on a lawn tractor, on some pretty tough terrain, and have had other ear buds fall out. But these have a little silicon piece that fits into the curvature of your ear that holds them in place. Haven't had them fall out while being jostle around on the mower. And the sound is great.

Great sound; Little bit of work to fit properly
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound. These are a little tricky to get them to stay put in your ear. Take advantage of the accessories provided and change the size of the provided tips if necessary to fit your ear. Also, see in the photo that these have the tip that fits into your ear canal as well as the "hook" to help them fit snugly. Be careful (look in the mirror) to get used to positioning these properly in your ear, and they should stay put. You will enjoy the sound and the Sony app to adjust the music or voice to your personal taste.
