THIS IS TOO GOOD for my needs. the sound/ bass is sony but it wont work with just one unit and i cannot hear anything else. im just looking for a basic ear buds that i can use for phone monitoring. broken hearted that i had to returned it. settled for JLAB POP.

Thank you for taking the time to review the WF-XB700. We value your input and appreciate the feedback regarding the option to use each earbud independently. Certain Sony Truly Wireless earbuds, including the WF-SP800N, WF-1000XM3, and WF-1000XM4, support the 'Using only one unit of the headset' feature. This means they can be configured to only output sound to one earbud, while the other earbud stays in the charging case.
The WF-XB700 are designed to be use with both earbud units inserted into both ears. In order for the right earbud to establish a Bluetooth connection with your phone, the left earbud has to be outside the charging case.
While we're glad you like the sound quality, we regret to hear that the unit had to be returned.
We hope that you will shop Sony again in the future.

They sound great (way better than Samsung Galaxy Buds+) but they cut out if I so much as blinked at my laptop. Every solution I tried to find essentially boiled down to "sit in a certain position and turn of EVERYTHING ELSE YOU OWN if you want it to work" so... That was a deal breaker. These things cost $130+. You'd expect them to at least be able to connect to the devices you use.

The buttons don’t have as many settings as they could have but the sound is great and the rang is awesome! They fit in our ears perfectly! They come with extra tips so try those out for a better fit. Sony Delivers Bass

Phone conversations are clear. My main issue is, for me, they are not so comfortable in the ear, and also tend to fall out. They also feel slightly bulky. As a result, I only use them while sitting still, like at my desk. Comfort is a big issue with buds. These were on sale when purchased, which is good. If you're going to pay $100 for buds, you want to wear them. I would definitely recommend these for sound, but that's it.

For fit concern, the WF-XB700 features an Ergonomic Tri-hold structure design for a snugly and comfortably fitting. This does also come with an assortment of earbuds in various sizes to ensure there is a great fit for all ear sizes. To ensure optimal performance, as well as to obtain the best fit and prevent the headset from falling out, you will need to twist the headset to slide the earbud deep into your ear. Good Sound, Not a Great Fit

I like the color as they don't look like the status quo. My only complaint is the fit. I find that every so often I have to rotate the device so that is stays in my ear. I have also noticed a little soreness. In fairness, I had the same experience when I first had iPods, but eventually loved them. I am hoping that my body will adjust because they are going to be great if that is the case!

Posted .Hi Coco, thank you for sharing your feedback on your WFXB700. We regret to hear that the earbuds don't fit well. The WFXB700 comes in various sizes of earpieces. Please choose the size that best fits and wear it correctly. Simply twist the headset to slide the earbud deep into your ear. The earbud will be easier to slide deep into your ear if you pull up on the top of the ear lightly while twisting the headset.
