I can still hear people talking but I'd have to really focus or turn down the music. Very nice and way better than my last set that would fall out of my ear at times.

Best pair I have had so far

They have very clear sound thru out the spectrum. Exceptional bass especially, which is one of the things I cannot say about the other pairs I have had. They were very easy to pair. Comes with 4 different sized ear tips (personally I always find the largest work best for my ears) USB -C charging is a plus. One of the things that I have been disappointed with other truly wireless earbuds is that they seem to cut out on one side or the other at times. I have used these for several hours at a time and have not experienced a cut-out once. Range is good. I went from one end of my house to the other (approx. 48') and they did not lose connection with my phone. I can't comment on total battery life but I went on a 2 hour walk and when I checked the battery life they were still over 50% Very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Stay in your ears well. Can't really say anything bad. Very satisfied and would definitely recommend.

We don't recommend using only one side of the WF-XB700 headphones. The headphones can be operated wearing only the left side, but the proper operation isn't guaranteed.

However, the fact that you cannot use each earbud individually is not typical Sony standard. Have multiple Sony products that I love but they missed the target on this one. Case and earbuds are plastic with texture that provides a good grip on each item but less pleasing to the eye. Seem durable enough to survive drops. Depends on how you plan on using your earbuds but for the price you can do better.
