Life is better wireless
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First and foremost, the listening experience with these earbuds is outstanding both on its own and compared to other alternatives available on the market. With deep-hitting bass and crystal-clear highs, music in all genres, from acoustic to hip-hop, sounds simply fantastic. In my experience with other wireless earbuds, I’ve noticed that others will emphasize one of those aspects over the other at the cost of performance (i.e., extremely deep bass drowning out other audio frequencies, or incredibly clear high ends without any sort of punch). However, with these earbuds, Sony seems to have struck the perfect balance of the two worlds. With wireless earbuds, the fit into the user’s ear is nearly as important as the audio quality itself, as it ensures an atmospheric soundscape during use and prevents the earbuds from falling out during physical activity, like jogging. Sony delivers again in this area. The earbuds fit me perfectly out of the box; however, three pairs of replacement earpieces are included as well to give each individual user a perfect fit for their ears. After giving these earbuds a vigorous head-shaking test as well as going for a jog with them, it’s safe to say I’ll never have any problem with them falling out. On top of that, they never broke the seal in the ear, ensuring that atmosphere I mentioned earlier throughout use. Additionally, these earbuds are water-resistant, making them an excellent driver for strenuous workouts that get the sweat flowing. Commenting further on the fit of these earbuds, they’re extremely comfortable as well – whether you’re two or twelve songs into your favorite album, you’ll forget you’re even wearing them. The battery life is impressive for both the earbuds themselves and the charging case. I typically charge the case overnight, but I’ve never run into any issues with the earbuds running out of charge during use or with the case running out of charge while charging the earbuds. The construction of the earbuds and the case is excellent. With a tactile snap to close the case and surprisingly strong magnets holding the earbuds in the case, I never have to worry about the case popping open in a pocket or a backpack and potentially losing an earbud. Connecting the earbuds to my phone via Bluetooth was a breeze. It took no more than five minutes to unbox the earbuds and get them connected to my phone. After ending listening sessions and disconnecting Bluetooth, the earbuds will automatically reconnect the next time you want to use them. Throughout my time using these earbuds, I haven’t experienced any connectivity issues (i.e., no gaps in audio, no issues with audio clipping, and no sudden, random disconnections). I’ve been hesitant to permanently switch over to wireless earbuds. I’ve always felt that a wired connection would offer the best performance in terms of sound quality; however, with these earbuds, I finally have a reason to retire my favorite wired earbuds for good. If you’ve been equally hesitant, or you’re simply looking for a better alternative, I would highly recommend these earbuds.

For me it was to much i feel like the mids and treble suffered a bit from how rich the bass was. Also wish they had something from keeping them from falling out of your ear, if they had that these be a kill pair for the gym.
