The buttons don’t have as many settings as they could have but the sound is great and the rang is awesome! They fit in our ears perfectly! They come with extra tips so try those out for a better fit. I like to be able to use one bud while the other charges. They sounded great to me, and were fairly comfortable for a short period, but I had to return them.

We're sorry to hear that your headphones failed to meet your expectations. We value your input regarding the option to use each earbud independently and appreciate the feedback. It's unfortunate that the unit had to be returned. Good to know that you like the comfortability and sound quality.
Certain Sony Truly Wireless earbuds, including the WF-SP800N and WF-1000XM3, support the 'Using only one unit of the headset' feature. This means they can be configured to only output sound to one earbud, while the other earbud stays in the charging case.
Standard headphones as well as some True Wireless models, such as WF-XB700, are designed to be use with both earbud units inserted into both ears. Such models do not support the 'Using only one unit of the headset' feature as they always output sound to both left (L) and right (R) units.
We hope that you will shop Sony again in the future.
