A great alternative to the other entry-level buds

The bass is rich and while the output is not as clear as their noise cancelling upgrade models, it's still very good. Fit and finish is classic Sony. Their build quality is as you'd expect. Excellent. I love the harder plastics Sony used on the case and the charging status light, while minimalistic, does it's job. Battery life is around 9 hours plus the charge case holds another full charge so 18 hours combined is great. Choose these for the Sony quality you love and stay for the USB C charging and 18hour battery

For fit concern, the WF-XB700 features an Ergonomic Tri-hold structure design for a snugly and comfortably fitting. This does also come with an assortment of earbuds in various sizes to ensure there is a great fit for all ear sizes. To ensure optimal performance, as well as to obtain the best fit and prevent the headset from falling out, you will need to twist the headset to slide the earbud deep into your ear. They also included three pairs of replacement buds in three different sizes, which is very thoughtful. Connecting to an Android smartphone and an Android tablet were super easy. Some portions of the enclosed infographic manual (i.e. the initial setup) were a little confusing, so it’s better to access their online manual from the QR code. The most important thing, though, is the sound quality and Sony definitely delivers it! Whether it’s music or phone calls, the sound is very clear and crisp. Even though these are not noise-canceling earbuds, they definitely minimize the surrounding noise. They are comfortable to wear and the battery life is longer than expected (9 hours for music playing and 5 hours for phone calls per their manual). The only negative is that the enclosed charging cable was a bit too short (only 6 inches long) and Sony doesn’t recommend using other charging cables, so it’s a bit of pain to find the right outlet (I don’t like charging via USB) but just a minor inconvenience compared to all its positive features. Highly recommended!

You can use the button on the left unit to perform the following operations.
• Increase the volume: Press the button on the left unit once during music playback to increase the volume by 1 step.
• Decrease the volume: Press and hold the button on the left unit during music playback to decrease the volume continuously. Release the button at the desired volume level.
Note: The available functions may vary depending on the connected device, the music software, or app used. In some cases, it may operate differently or may not work even when the operations described above are performed.
