At first, I was excited to buy these since they were $69.99! I raced home so that I could start messing around with these headphones. The BASS & music quality on these things were just amazing! The ONLY CON I have is that they don't get loud enough for when I workout at my gym. As a comparison I have Anker Liberty 2 headphones and they are amazingly crisp, punchy, and loud! I was hoping to go back to the Sony family but they simply disappointed.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Being that I didn't owned a set of Bluetooth earbuds, I decided to give myself a Christmas present and buy a set of these Sony headphones after reading mostly favorable reviews. Once I paired them to my LG Stylo 5, I went on YouTube excited to hear music that was punchy, with bass, loud. It was disappointing. I was in shock. One of my primarily listening types is EDM. The sound was flat, hardly any of the advertised bass was there. I went on trying various types of music such as Latin, hip-hop, soft rock, alternative, and again the sound was flat. The volume wasn't loud enough as well. I changed the volume limiter in Developer Options, no difference. Changed earbud sizes, twisted the earbuds in my ear, initialized/reset the earbuds but no improvement. I couldn't believe off brands earbuds from Walmart would sound better and louder than these. I bought my girlfriend a set of SkullCandy's Sesh Evo, and although they were less expensive, their sound is better. I did my best to give these the benefit of the doubt. I thought well maybe it's my cell phone. I decided to try a different device. I paired these Sony earbuds with a new Dell Latitude 9410 laptop. The volume was a little louder but hardly any bass. There's no equalizer settings on these earbuds to help improve their sound. I fear I'll have to return these and seek another make/model.

Lasted for 2½ years and later stopped working

Has poor battery. Cannot last more than 4 hours. It was my first wireless earbuds

Right bud was dead OOB

Tried all the TS and reset steps Sony describes but no luck. Sad....

The plastic housing touches your ears( im a 6 ft 6 large man) , might not notice the pain until you take them out. Muddy bass. Sub par build quality. For 65 I guess they are 3 stars but for 129 mrsp its pathetic.

We regret to know that you're not having the best experience with these headphones. The WF-XB700 features an Ergonomic Tri-hold structure design for a snugly and comfortably fitting. This does also comes with an assortment of earbuds in various sizes to ensure there is a great fit for all ear sizes. As a suggestion, to reduce discomfort while wearing the headphones and if you feel that there is insufficient low frequency sound or extra bass effect is not sufficient, change the earbuds to another size to comfortably and snugly fit your left and right ears.
