I wanted to keep them so bad, but they felt so awkward in my ear and could not wear them for long periods of time. Wish they have a better in ear design.

Sony place a high value on every feedback as this help us in improving our products' design, features, and functionality.
Our WF100XM4 are supplied with different sizes of earbud tips so that you can achieve the maximum effects of the earbuds. In designing these headphones, we also consider the ear canals sizes as it varies from person to person, and can also vary in size from the left to the right sides. To keep the headphones from falling out and for comfortable listening experience, we recommend selecting the right size earbud tips and wearing the earbuds properly.
-Gently pull up on the top of your ears, put the earbud tips in your ear canal, and then twist the earbuds into place. This makes sure the earbuds are firmly in the ear canal.
We hope you'll consider Sony in your future purchase.

The charge case feels durable and supports wireless charging. Noise cancelling is awesome for ear buds and blocks most sounds.

Near instant pairing. 1 major complaint though, the auto detect noice canceling/ambient sound feature beeps whenever it changed which is incredibly annoying. Please please please update it to be able to turn that off. That update and an expedient Siri integration when it rolls out and I will be fully satiated with these.

1. In the Adaptive Sound Control settings: set to OFF
2. Turn off Adaptive Sound Control

Upon research, this is a common problem with these headphones. I reached out to Sony and they offered to replace them but do not have any in stock at the moment. I've been going on one month of waiting for them to be replaced. This is not what I wanted to experience with these headphones. Makes me cautious of upgrading to the WF1000XM5 when they are released.

If the size of the earbud tips does not match the size of your ear canals or the headset is not properly worn on your ears, tap operations or the speech detection of Speak-to-Chat may not be successful, or you may not obtain proper sound qualities, noise canceling effects, or call performances.
Please try these steps to improve your listening experience.
Change the earbud tips to ones that fit more snugly in your ears. When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. The size of the left and right earbud tips may be different.
The “Sony | Headphones Connect” app will help you to determine which earbud tips are most suitable for you to achieve the optimal noise cancellation effect.

New favorite headphones.

Having both the airpod pros and these, I prefer the wf xm4’s. It’s nice how they brought features from the headphones to the earphones like pressing on the earphone to allow the ambient sound for easy listening. The only time I prefer the AirPods is for making calls as they sound a bit smoother. Another great thing is the xm4’s don’t struggle to stay in my ear as much. Of course sound quality is a factor too, they sound great and the app you download for it allows you to adjust the EQ.
