Fantastic Sound Quality and Overall Perfomance

The sound quality of these earbuds is phenomenal and I’ve yet to have anyone tell me I sounded like I was “speaking through a wet sock” like with the Jabra’s. I was concerned that the touch controls would be problematic but they work well. So far I’m very pleased with the performance of these earbuds.

My main problem is they don't automatically connect sometimes. Or they connect and take 10 seconds to start playing audio.

I would recommend getting this product only if you are willing to switch it out after 1 year aka switching earbuds every year

The only complaint i have, which I knew when I bought but didn't think I would need until I did, is the ability to connect them to 2 devices at once. so listening to music on my phone and then connect to a zoom call on my work computer. you have to disconnect from one to connect to the other. I do love the speak to chat function where when you start talking it pauses the music.

Top Tier, lacking in OS

I must admit, I do not have the most experience in the wireless ear bud scene. Although, after previously using Air Pod Pros (1st gen) for about 2 years, I believe the WF-1000XM4’s are much further along the path than Apple. The only complaint is that the Sony Headphone app OS is trash. It’s not user friendly, and quite frankly is a huge flaw for all of their products. Additionally, the connectivity does often cut out which can be prevented through an option within the settings. Aside from that, these are top of the line wireless ear buds at a fraction of the cost that B&W or Harman Kardon are.

Ok sound, and decent noise canceling. At 1 year I noticed some funny battery quirks, then it went downhill fast. I now can only recharge the headphones once (kinda) from the base, and the headphones at 100% battery stay on for at most 10-15 minutes. Stranger yet, the left headphone dogs after 3 minutes, and i used\charge this one less often. Not worth the money at all.

Best Ear Buds Under $300

Music that is streamed at very high quality by Spotify creates an incredible sound. Noise cancelling/ambient sound is adjusted with a tap on the left bud. Stopping or advancing music simply requires a tap or two on the right bud. Due to limitation on the amount of data that can be streamed at any time, more expensive ear buds may provide only diminishing gains. The microphone works very well for telephone calls.
