Best noise cancellation I’ve ever heard. Head and shoulders better then AirPods! The M3s fit better for me… your results may vary. I wear them while mowing the lawn, blowing snow. Both jobs take about 2.5 hours. My ears don’t ring when done, and I experience no ‘ear fatigue’

As for the sound level, please make sure that the software is updated. You can check and update the software by launching Sony Headphones Connect app. You can also make few adjustments to your headphones settings to suit your needs through the Sony Headphones Connect app. It has an Equalizer setting which can be customized to fine-tune your music. This will give you more control over your headphones and their performance.

Phantom touches immediately, constant beeping in my ear even when i turn off the touch function. If you live in Portland OR, this is a death sentance. Just get Airpods. I love Sony have a VR2 & PS5 wont be buying any headphones or buds in the future. Utterly garbage product. Cant wait to get my money back! Ive been fleeced.

I have the MF-1000XM3's. They are great and comfortable for me. I must admit these fit better a little lighter. Sound quality is good. It depends on how it was mastered. I have found music from the late 60's and 70s. Are not as full range as newer sources. I would recommend them to friends.

For a middle-aged guy, I didn't really find these to be the most intuitive to use at first, but after going to the tutorials it has become natural. I was always buying the earbuds that were around $100, and I could not get them to fit right or sound right. I did not like the foam tips, and thought the sound was escaping. Garbage

I got 2 sets, one for work and one for home based on all the reviews I was reading at the time. After a software update the batteries would no longer charge to full. Left ear would only charge to 60% right ear only 70%. This happened to both sets. Now also drain rapidly and will only get a couple of hours, and the left ear runs out, then shortly after the other. Again this is in both sets of ear buds. Problem was not fixed after latter updates. The update permanently damaged the batteries. Sony refused to do anything to fix or replace. This was an obvious defect but I was a few months past warranty. So now I have over $600 paper weights. I ended up getting the Samsung pro 2 and they are great. No battery issues and I think they fit better in the ear.

It doesn’t matter if they are the best sounding earbuds on the market or that they have the best noise cancelling for an earbud if the things don’t work. No multipoint pairing - If you pair this to your laptop, you will need to repair them to your phone. I had them for less than 3 hours and the right ear bud produced this horrible buzzing noise until it reset. The Sony app isn’t great. I don’t want to have to run another app for a pair of Bluetooth earbuds

We appreciate your feedback about the multipoint connection feature and Headphones Connect app. Currently, the WF-1000XM4 does not support the Multi-point Connection feature. It can be paired with multiple devices (e.g. smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.), but unlike model WH-1000XM4: it cannot be connected with multiple devices at the same time.
