Yes, they have features and stuff, but the sound quality even on LDAC is just embarrassing. It's worse than on the AirPods. No EQ helped me at all. Would not recommend to audiophiles (buy the Sennhieser MOMEMNTUM TWS 2), but would maaaaybe recommend to people who want the best and don't care about sound quality.

Not worth the $300

I feel like a lot of the good reviews for these came from those who did not compare these to similar class wireless earbuds. For $300, these are not worth it. The Sennheiser Momentum 2 is better by far in terms of sound quality. These XM4 do have better ANC and a smaller case with wireless charging, where the Sennheiser case do not have wireless charging.

Battery issues-beware!

I purchased these for air travel use only and after three dozen flights they no longer work. About two months ago each time I started to use them, I would get a message the right earbud only had 15 minutes charge left. The earbuds would stop working a minute or so later. I have tried the Sony site and various You Tube recommendations to fix the issue without success. Sony seems to be stuck in the reboot method of addressing the issue. For a $300+ purchase one would think these might last somewhat longer after light use in less than 2 years. Suggestion to those considering these earbuds, look online concerning many users having similar problems with these earbuds. Sony has not offered a recall for the defective product thus far so beware.

The sound is great but i have problems keeping them in my ears,they fall out a lot..I've tried all 3 size tips and still have want stay secured in my ears. Wish i had brought the bose earbuds instead. These were supposed to for everyday use..but i only wear them on occasion.

Ear canals vary in size from person to person, and can also vary in size from the left to the right sides. After selecting the right size earbud tips, we also recommend wearing the earbuds properly to keep the headphones from falling out.
Gently pull up on the top of your ears, put the earbud tips in your ear canal, and then twist the earbuds into place. This makes sure the earbuds are firmly in the ear canal.

I do say supposed because after 3 hours of listening, I was less than half battery life. This is well under the stated life. Also call quality was low. The person I called had trouble hearing me while driving. Add those up against the pros and with that almost $300 cost with tax.. It's just not worth it for me. I returned them.

The only bad thing that ive noticed is that theres a random cut in the anc.

The WF-1000X4 has a superior call quality than our previous model. Precise Voice Pickup Technology uses beamforming microphones and a bone-conduction sensor to allow the WF-1000XM4 headphones to pick up your voice clearly and accurately for hands-free calls—at home, in a cafe, or wherever you are. If you're having an issue while on call, please ensure you have the latest software installed. The software version can be updated using the Headphones Connect App.
Restarting or Initializing the headphones are also a recommendation.
