Bluetooth unstable, not the right time to buy them

I paired my earbuds the other night to my iPhone and when I began to listen to music, from the right ear but I was hearing Ozzy Osbourne singing and the left I was listening to Donna summers. What happened was the right earbud paired with my iPad and the left was paired with my iPhone, you can’t make this up this is up, reality is stranger than fiction. I’m very disappointed with Sony, I love the sound signature but in this case I’m going to pass at least for now.... Maybe in about three or four months I’ll buy them again to see if they worked out the bugs. On a positive note this is why I will revisit them, the XM fours blow Apple AirPods Pro out of the water when it comes to sound and ANC.

Please ensure the headphones are updated to the latest firmware, version 1.1.5, which improved Bluetooth connection stability. If the issue occurs after that: place both headsets into the charging case for 6 seconds, then remove and continue using. Regards, -Ralph

Only 2 hours of use and signs of wear became apparent. Sony offers foam tip replacements, however why invest in something that requires constant repair. Bose is better with the use of silicone. Not worth the investment.

Sennheiser Momentum 2 is slightly better for sound but you can't use the buds independently and noise canceling is superior on the Sony.

Sony Linkbuds S are better

I am not a fan of the memory foam tips, I much prefer normal rubber/silicon tips. Sound quality is fine. ANC is good. I went with the Sony Linkbuds S over these and I am much happier.
