ANC did not work x 3 Pairs

This was the 3rd pair I bought (other 2 were refurb). I have the Sony XM3 large headphones which are just amazing. I have Airpod Pros, which are just ok at ANC. I’ve got the Bose 700 large headphones, which aren’t as good as the XM3 but pretty good. ANY of these would be better than the last 3 Sony’s I bought which didn’t work. I am a big believer in Sony, so this was very disappointing, especially for such expensive earbuds.

You may also try following the below steps if the noise canceling effect is not sufficient.
Make sure that the noise canceling function is turned on.
If the size of the earbud tips does not match the size of your ear canals or the headset is not properly worn on your ears, tap operations or the speech detection of Speak-to-Chat may not be successful, or you may not obtain proper sound qualities, noise canceling effects, or call performances. If any of this is the case, try the following.
- Change the earbud tips to ones that fit more snugly in your ears. When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. The size of the left and right earbud tips may be different. The “Sony | Headphones Connect” app will help you to determine which earbud tips are most suitable for you to achieve the optimal noise cancellation effect.
- Check if the headset is properly worn on your ears. Wear the headset so that the earbud tip is comfortably situated as deep in the ear canal as possible.
The noise canceling function is effective in low frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices.
When the Adaptive Sound Control on the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app is turned on, the wearer's actions, like walking or running, are detected. The noise canceling function is automatically adjusted and the Ambient Sound Mode may be activated according to these actions. To make the most of the noise canceling function, turn off the Adaptive Sound Control, and try to turn on the noise canceling function manually when you need it.

Great for the first year but has gone down hill

All of a sudden they only last about 45 minutes each with the case only lasting long enough to charge them once. Sound and ANC are still great but they simply don't last. I think the batteries have gone bad because I used to wirelessly charge them and they'd overheat. However, wireless charging is a feature of the buds and shouldn't damage them. Also, they can be very uncomfortable when you have them in for a while and the charging case feels incredibly flimsy.

Soooo disapointed - Stay away !

I was hesitant between this one and the Airpods Pro... Worst choise from me... The noise canceling is so low, so far from Apple, almost non-existent... It's more a passive isolation than active noise canceling... And the sound? Bad too... I have a Jabra Elite Active 75t which is better in both sound and noise canceling for almost half the price... I'm feeling really scammed by this product... I can't return it because I was traveling for 4 weeks and Best Buy return is only 2 weeks... Total lost of money ! :-(

That is not definitely not the news that we would like to hear.
For charging or power issues, some of these problems can be fixed by making sure that charging port on the charging case is clean. If any dust or dirt is in or around the charging port, it may not charge properly. We always recommend removing any dust or dirt with soft, dry cloth before charging.
