I wouldn't say they were terrible but very unimpressive for the price. They are too big and heavy so the weight would pull them out of my ears. The noise cancelling is very overrated. It might cancel white noise like wind but nothing else like voices that you would actually want to cancel. I returned them and got the MUCH cheaper WF-C500 which are much lighter, fit better, and sound (in my opinion) just as good.

This is definitely not the customer experience we want you to have. WF-1000XM4 headphones come with different sizes of earbud tips. We always recommend using the right size of earbuds tips according to the size of the user's ears so that they will not fall off. Take note that the noise canceling function is effective in low frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices. I should have just bought AirPods. The quality is not the best and the mic is horrible. Sony should be embarrassed to put their name on this product. Especially with the reputation they have.
