So, I used to use the bose quietcomfort ii's, and my biggest gripe with those was that they would just not stay in the ear due to not sealing no matter what I tried, and could never take advantage of the noise canceling because of that. Sonys fit perfectly, have better battery life, and to me, the passthrough for voice is much better. If you are between both headsets, neither will steer you wrong, unless youre having fitment issues, in which case, the sonys were better. Also i upgraded the foam eartips to silicone ones from amazon, and have been loving these so far

I clean houses for a living and these headphones have been the best while I listen to my podcasts and music. I have tried every headphone out there, and nothing to compares to these!!!! The listen time is even more than what it says online. I got the white/cream ones and I get so many compliments. They do NOT fall out like most out there. I bought a case for them and they hang on my purse and go everywhere with me. Talking on the phone is amazing. Amazing quality. Buy these!!!!!! Worth every penny

Outstanding! Have had my fair share of headphones over the years performing cable services and Wildlife and Pest Control. Always in the field always on the go. Music is essential. This is the first headphone product I've ever utilized that has so many cool features I can't even list them but the auto voice prompt, the sound quality, even the design are top notch. And almost a year later they're still putting out updates for the firmware. You wont regret the purchase, I promise!

I have really enjoyed these Sony earbuds over the past two years. I use them nearly every day. The sound and quality are great and compares well to the larger headset. The slim design and portability are what won me over. There was one tech issue, but Sony did great with the fix, and it isn't expected with newer units sold (from when I got mine in January of 2022). I'm glad to have made this purchase!

I have been using my power beats pros for years but finally decided to get something with active noise canceling for my samsung as my family all have iphones and love their ipods. The Sony XM4s are awesome and i will never go back to something without active noise canceling. I heard background rifs in my favorite songs that i had no idea were there before my XM4s! I listened to them for over 14 hours while traveling without ever having to recharge the case. Just put them in the case for 15 min or so a few times and they worked like a charm. Would definitely recommend these to anyone.

Right off the bat, these are very easily replacing the pixel buds I bought last week before I heard these were coming out. Only had them a couple days but I've been using them almost nonstop as I wear at least one all day during work. TL;DR is that I'd take these over any other truly wireless buds currently on the market. Comfortable, nice sound profile, and unbeatable noise cancelling. Two gripes are single device pairing and BT seems to be controlled by the right bud so it has to be out of the case to use the left. Pros: -Voice assistant integration is great -Sound profile is good and allows for enough tweaking in the app. -ANC is every bit as good as their overear offerings and leagues above the competition. (I have recently been able to use Bose's anc earbuds and use a pair of airpod pros semi regularly.) -auto pausing music when you take a bud out is nice. -love the fit of these over the pixel buds and airpods. Cons: I have two major gripes with the buds but they're in no way a deal breaker. They do take a star away though. 1) Pairing seems to be through the right bud with the left in a sort of "slave" role. I like to listen with just a left bud in during the day because I use a headset on my right for phone calls during work. So to do this I have to take the right bud out of the case and just set it on my desk. 2) They don't offer multiple device pairing like a lot of other headphones do, including Sony's new overear 1000xm4's. Not a huge problem since I really only use earbuds with my phone. This addition would sort of fix my other problem though by allowing me to pair with my PC as well to take work calls.

Hi Mario, thank you for purchasing our WF-1000XM4 truly wireless combine industry-leading noise cancellation headphones. We're glad that you like the features, sound quality, and noise canceling of the WF1000XM4. We are also sorry to hear that you're unable to use the left earbud.

You can remove one unit of the headset from the charging case and use the unit by itself. In this case, only the unit that has been removed from the charging case will turn on.

If you are using the WF-1000XM4 without downloading & installing the Headphones Connect App, yet they DO set up/activate Google Assistant: by default the RIGHT headset is assigned Google Assistant hence by design the LEFT side then cannot be used by itself.

Here are additional troubleshooting steps/issues to consider:

      1. Both sides must initially be paired/registered via Bluetooth

      2. If Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa will be used => ensure it is assigned (using HPC) to the side being used

      3. Ensure the customer is aware of the default HPC App settings è ‘Automatic Power Off’ and ‘Pauses when headphones are taken off’ are turned ON.

      4. If removing the Right headset to use the Left headset by itself: if the Right headset touch sensor is inadvertently touched, you’ll need to restart playback on your smartphone.

Best earbuds with noise canceling and quality sound. Newer model came out but these are still great for the price. When you get them, be sure to changeout the earbud cones to fit your ears. The noise canceling won’t work as well and it will likely fall out of your ears if you don’t. Your booming bass or lower registering guitar and drum noises won’t be as strong as in your car but that’s just because of the speakers being miniaturized. The overall sound profile is still very good.

I bought these to replace AirPod Pro. I had a tough time with sound quality and fit with them. These are amazing. Sound quality and noise cancelling is unmatched. I use them on planes and lawnmowing and they block out all unwanted sound. The fit is great too with 3 earpad sizes. Batteries last a long time, longer than Airpods. I do miss the connectivity of Airpods to my apple devices, but the gains definitely outweigh that setback.

These came out only a few months after I'd gotten their older brother, the over the ear WH-1000XM4. I was so impressed by those that I had to get the earbud version (I love the over ear but they do feel bulky after awhile, and I can't lie down on my side with them). I was worried because people were saying these were uncomfortable. I find these comfortable to wear all day at work. They can irritate a part of my ear sometimes, but I just wiggle them now and then to alleviate that. I also think that may be because I swapped the foam tips for larger silicone tips from my cheap earbuds. That being said, I've noticed no decrease in sound quality or noise cancelling from that. I do wish there was an even larger set of tips, or that the tips were more rounded (I have small ears but large ear canals, so the really round / deep ones fit best). But being able to swap them out is good. Noise cancelation is great. I work in an office right next to a major highway and it's super noisy. I cannot hear any of that anymore. Cars are gone. No AC sounds. People's open office Zoom calls fade (like the WH, voices and dog barks are harder to drown out). The only sound that seems to cut through is my fridge, since my living room and kitchen are basically one room. It's just loud. But the ANC is fantastic for ear buds. Sound quality is almost as good as the WH, and the app makes it easy to customize. I love having an EQ. Only wish there was a Mac version of the app because I'm on my MacBook all day. Definitely the best sound from any buds I've tried. They blow my AirPod Pros out of the water (I don't get the hype on the Pros—they sound terrible and tinny except for phone calls, they hurt my ears, and the ANC always turns off randomly and makes a horrible whooshing noise for me). As for phone calls, these do okay. Definitely loads better than the WH. But the AirPod Pros are still the best for phone calls / meetings of anything I've tried. But I didn't get these for meetings. I was debating between these and the Bose equivalent, but since I loved the WHs, I got these and I have no regrets!

Good sound. Comfortable in/on ear. I shake my head and they do not drop out. Still, there's no option for hooking it onto the upper ear or even hooking it to a glasses frame. Cannot go too far from my phone. If you really love bass, you will not feel the deep vibes.

I have Powerbeats pro, Sony wh-1000xm3, Sonywf-1000xm3, AirPods, Jabra 85t. These new wf-1000xm4s are the benchmark. Good battery life. Sound better than all but the over ear headphones. They sound amazing. Can have one earbud in either ear unlike the Jabra and others. The ambient pass through is much better than the previous xm3 earbuds. The noise cancellation has made a huge leap from previous gen. Have control over the buttons unlike the Powerbeats pro. Snug fit that isn't tiresome too my ears. I can sleep with these on much easier than my other ones. Case is now a much better size. Smaller than all the others I have. I used to bounce between the other earbuds. With these I probably won't ever wear the others except the Powerbeats Pro when I run.

I love these! The only thing I didn't like was the foam ear pieces, but I had some extra cheap gel ones that were pretty comfortable- and really I've always had trouble with ear pieces and I have a pretty small ear canal so that was the only reason it was uncomfortable. If you use the medium or large ear pieces comfortably that come with headphones then the included ones will be fine. As far as features, everything is amazing. The sound quality is great, the ANC is fantastic, and the battery life is more than adequate.

These IEM's are big in size, not the best fit for my ears. They feel like the will fall out at any moment. You can feel them sticking out away from your ears. They also have big sound. If you get a good seal the sound if very full. Good bass that does not drown out the mids or highs. The noise cancelling is good, but not sold on the smart listening tech. It turns on and off at will and changes the sound of the music. I thought I disabled this feature but it still does it. The case is small and can charge wirelessly. Also the case hold the IEMs magnetically. The hinge on the case feels lose. I have the Jabra elite 65t and the Sony beat it in Sound and is a little better with the noise cancelling. But the fit and comfort is better with the 65t and I don't have the problem that I do with the smart listening tech.

Hi RVal, We value your input and appreciate your feedback and we are sorry you are having an issue with your wireless in-ear headphones. We highly recommend changing the earbud tips of your in-ear headphones to ones that fit more snugly in your ears. When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. The size of the left and right earbud tips may be different. Wearing the headphones the right way will also prevent the units from falling off. For more details, please visit the links below:

I recently lost my Samsung galaxy buds pro so I bought the best of the best MX4. The sound quality is amazing as expected. The volume is not that loud even after setting up EQ in the software settings, but that's not what they're known for. The ANC is top teir compared to samsung buds pro and now the Bose quiteconfort that I'm using. Sadly, I had to return them because I am one of many who like this product, but the comfort is not there. In 30 minutes my ears get sore and hurt. I tried all tips and the issue remains. I read to use third party silicone tips, but sound quality will degrade slightly due to that, something I do not want to risk. Overall performance is amazing and software provides many customization features. Just know comfort might be a 50/50 for you.

Hi Omar, while we are glad that you like the overall performance of your headphones, we regret that it has to be returned. This is definitely not the experience we'd like you to have. We place a high value on customers feedback as it help us improve our products.

You may be experiencing a symptom called listener fatigue. That is where your eardrums work hard to manage the volume that flows through your ear canal. The louder the volume, the bigger the strain on your eardrums, which then causes the feeling of fatigue. Lowering the volume or take a break from wearing them for a while helps fix this issue.

We are sorry for the inconvenience and we hope you'll consider Sony in your future purchase.

      Sincerely,
      Erin Sony_US
