My only complaint about them was no eq to adjust the sound and I wish they were a bit louder. Also the case is huge! I have AirPod pro and I can carry the case in my pocket but I had to put the Bose in my bag pack. I watched a lot of reviews on the Sony and how great they were, so I decided to swap them out for my bose. Very happy I did! They sound is amazing and the case fits in my pocket. They are worth every penny! I have a lot of earphones and never been so excited for any earphones. Awesome product!!!!!! First Sony product I have purchased.

The good, the bad, and the ugly
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Background - I use these for Windows 10 system Microsoft Teams meetings 2 to 6 hours a day. The problems I've had are the same on my cell phone, not just the computer. Have worked with Sony support on both sets that failed. The good - Great sound quality, noise cancelling, bluetooth connectivity, battery life, and fit. The bad - the ear tips started disintegrating within the first couple of weeks of wearing them. The ugly - I am on my third set of these earbuds under warranty. The first set died in the first two days by losing the sound in the left earbud. The second set lasted three months. The left earbud would intermittently disconnect. Returning both earbuds to the case would restore it. Eventually, the left earbud quit completely and could not be restored. You could barely hear it if you took out the right earbud. They have been replaced under warranty. I just received my replacement yesterday. We'll see how long these last. Each time If you have to go through warranty, expect a two week return time. I bought another manufacturer noise cancelling earbuds since I cannot be without them. When the Sony earbuds work, I like them better than the other manufacturer (same pricing). If you end up buying these, DEFINITELY get the Best Buy extended warranty.

Ditch other earbuds

You might think it's expensive but definitely worth it. If you have an apple phone I'd suggest you get the apple ear buds since they're lighter. Sound quality maybe a little better in the Sony. Google assistant works fine and ANC is the best.

They mentioned that I sound Far from the phone and I found my self repeating my self multiple of times and getting louder. I hope that this is something that Sony can fix, so I’m able to rebuy them. Follow these steps to troubleshoot this issue when using the WF-1000XM4 earbud headphones:
Select your problem.
a. I can’t hear the other person talking
b. The other person can't hear me talking
Perform the following steps on the device connected to your earbuds:
a. Check the Bluetooth® settings to make sure that the earbuds are connected via Bluetooth.
b. Check the Speaker settings:
c. Turn up the volume.
Check the following setting
For phones with Android OS 10 or later:
Open the Settings menu on your smartphone.
Select Connected devices.
Tap the Settings icon next to the earbuds model name.
Set the Call setting to ON.
For Windows OS computers:
On the computer taskbar, right-click the Speaker icon, and then click Open Sound settings.
Under Related Settings, select Sound Control Panel.
Select the Playback tab to show the playback device list.
Select the connected WF-1000XM4 earbud headphones in the list, click Set Default, and then click OK.
Make sure the earbuds fit snug in your ears.

A little disappointed with Sony on these

They fit okay and you can do light workouts with them in. But I would be very afraid to wear them in any wet conditions. I still get a lot of ambient noise coming through such as cars airplanes and train sounds. But the ANC is okay but it could be a lot better. But I do love the application for the EQ settings.

Nice sound but not very comfortable!

The sound is very good but I can't wear them for more than an hour or so. They are just too uncomfortable! I am going to try some different non Sony ear tips as none of the ones provided seem to fit.
