Nothing Special, Poor Customer Service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The app, headphone design are both pretty terrible and the customer service is completely unwilling to help. The issues: - Audio cutting in and out when connected to mac - Audio drops beyond 15 feet from device. - Poor mic quality - much worse than airpods - Touch sensors finicky and don't respond to inputs - Pairing more than 1 device gets finicky - Issues resting / initializing headphones. The audio quality isn't great, not expecting audiophile quality for sub 500, but these are worse than the Airpods Pro's. I buy most audio gear from Magnolia, I bought this one from our employee forma store b/c I had a 250 credit. Sony was unwilling to help with warranty at all, and I'll be returning them. I had issues with another Sony (TV) product purchased from magnolia and the customer service from Sony was equally bad. Thank fully best buy/magnolia made it right. Don't buy sony products.

Amazing but terrible.

Sadly after about a year or so it stopped working properly. Both earbuds die within minutes. The case is also malfunctioning. It will blink red constantly when i try to charge it. After a while itll stop but overall. The earbuds won’t work as good as they used too.

This is not the experience we want you to have. While it is normal for the battery consumption rate to vary somewhat between the left and right earbuds due to function settings and conditions of use, a significant difference between the earbuds, when regularly used together, should not occur.

Blah - Dissapointed

After a 1 year usage

I am not the only one with this issue, ive seen reports on reddit & youtube after a year use case of this occuring

I had a different model of Sony headphones , and it broke by the hinge. Reached out to both US and Japan headquarters about the issue. Received a reply email stating that the Sony engineers agree that there is a defect with the product, but they cannot exchange it because it was out of warranty. If a product has a defect, and company admits it, then why does not matter what the purchase date it. Anyway I highly recommend to stay away from sony headphones in general.

STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT HEADPHONES THAT LAST!!!

These ones stopped working within 8 months of their purchase for no good reason. Bluetooth would either only connect on one side, or they would not connect at all. Another issue was them cutting in and out frequently until the point of being unusable. I did not get the insurance because these "buds" are ridiculously expensive as it is, and for the money, they should last. Sony has therefore become a company that has lost my business at any point in the future.

Can't use Noise Canceling or Ambient Sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked great for a month, then the left earbud started making a loud constant "whoosh" anytime the noise canceling or ambient modes are on. Told customer spport and they essentially said "Too bad, it works fine in our eyes". Won't replace, complete waste of money to buy noise canceling ear buds when I can't use the noise canceling.

In the meantime, to eliminate the loud whoosh sound please try the following:
1. Turn off Adaptive Sound Control, or
2. Turn off “Notification Tone When Switching”

Worse earbuds ever!

If the size of the earbud tips does not match the size of your ear canals or the headset is not properly worn on your ears, you may not obtain proper sound qualities, noise canceling effects, or call performances and other features may not work properly.
