It also holds charge very well and I've never run out of battery. The case is a little large, but it recharges the in-ear headphones nicely and overall, I really like them. My only complaint is that they are a bit heavy in the ear and they can only be worn for about 20 minutes before they give me a headache. That's barely long enough for one phone conversation let alone to listen to music.

That is where your eardrums work hard to manage the volume that flows through your ear canal. The louder the volume, the bigger the strain on your eardrums, which then causes the feeling of fatigue. Lowering the volume or take a break from wearing them for a while helps fix this issue.

Amazing earbuds

I enjoy Sony products and I've had the WH-1000XM4 and enjoy them very much but bought these to carry throughout my regular day and have been amazing the app is easy to use and can make presets for whatever equalizer sound you want. They don't operate independently like other brands. Battery life is great. Sound quality is good, The mic works great for phone calls. They feal a little bulky compared to other brands I have had. Overall they are decent but they are pricey. The range on the connectivity is lacking. Also to get the most out of them you need to download an app. I have had them for a few months and I use them to mow the yard, take work calls, and listen to music.

Best Earbuds I’ve tried

They have a truly immersive sound and somehow unpacks new sounds out of songs I’ve heard 100 times before through different mediums. I love how many levels there is in the equalizer so that i can make the music I love sounds great. Here is what they lack: noise cancellation. It works but it’s not perfect. Bose wins in that realm, but only that realm. Comfort. However, I dont have high expectations for comfort out of such a dynamic pair of earbuds. To be more comfortable they would have to be smaller which would hinder the sound.

To keep the headphones from falling out, please select the right size earbud tips. We also recommend to properly wear the headset so that the earbud tip is comfortably situated as deep in the ear canal as possible.
Gently pull up on the top of your ears, put the earbud tips in your ear canal, and then twist the earbuds into place. This makes sure the earbuds are firmly in the ear canal.

First off the fit in your ear is not comfortable for me at all as a matter of fact my ears were actually sore the next day, as compared to the Bose quiet comfort . Second is the noise canceling part, I wore these at bedtime to drown out my husband's snoring, even turned all the way up they didn't work. So if you are truly interested in noise canceling ear buds then you should definitely go with the Bose Quiet Comfort. My husband wore his to mow with our zero turn BadBoy mower and he said they worked perfectly! Sorry Sony I'll continue to buy your TV's but definitely exchanging these for Bose.

Also, the noise-canceling function is effective in low-frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices.

I have always been a fan of Bose products because of their sound quality and these headphones are just as good, if not better. The bass is heavy and clear and the EQ option in the app allows you to alter the sound any way you prefer. The noise cancelling options are fantastic, especially the ability to automatically change the setting by your favorite locations. The only bad part is the ear tips. They are a little uncomfortable and not good for all eat sizes. Even with this though they are still the best headphones I have ever used.

I tried 3 different ear buds… returned these.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased three different earbuds, the Sony WF-1000XM4, the Sony WFC500, and the Jabra Elite 7 Pro. I kept the Sony WFC500. I wore each pair for 15 minutes. The XM4s started hurting my ears. I had to use the medium foam tips to create a seal. I didn’t like the foam tips to begin with. While the noise cancellation was good, the bass was not. There’s also no volume up or down button on the earbuds. The Jabra Elite 7 pro, I could not get them into my ears properly to save my life. They never sealed, and it felt and looked like they were about to fall out. Then I tried the Sony WFC500. These are the ones I kept. The silicone tips created a better seal in my ear than the other two, and I noticed ALMOST no difference in outside noise between this pair and the other Sony‘s XM4. These earbuds have probably twice as much bass when using the bass booster function in the equalizer. I don’t have a problem hearing people, and they don’t have a problem hearing me, and I drive a semi truck. Directly from the earbuds these have the ability to turn the volume up and down, use your phones voice assistant, answer and hang up a phone call, play, pause, skip forward and go back when listening to music. All from the ear buds. The WFC500 earbuds have actual tactile feedback when pushing the button on the sides. It’s a nice firm click. Would I recommend the XM4? Yes, BUT! I would seriously encourage you to check out the WFC500 as well. You may find a bit more money in your pocket the next day.

Our WF100XM4 are supplied with different sizes of earbud tips so that you can achieve the maximum effects of the earbuds. In designing these headphones, we also consider the ear canals sizes as it varies from person to person, and can also vary in size from the left to the right sides. To keep the headphones from falling out and for comfortable listening experience, we recommend selecting the right size earbud tips and wearing the earbuds properly.

The in ear- earbuds are decent, really good quality sound, app really doesn't do to much (equalizer, setup adaptive sound locations), but easy enough to install. The fit of the earbuds in ear gives me a litfle issue, but the majority of the time it doesn't, fits pretty well (came with 3 size tips). The Bluetooth sync was pretty easy to figure out. I would say the price is the most dreadful thing about the sony brand, I have always hesitated to get them, but they have been worth it each time. The case is pretty small, which is awesome for taking them with me to work or other places, it also has a magnetic hold when they are in the case so they don't fall out, but they are easy enough to take out and put back in. The noise cancelation is pretty good, and the adaptive sound has been pretty helpful. Overall I would probably say double check the newest sony headbuds before you buy this model, or at the very least aim for buying these when they are on sale.

Would've been amazing but...

Whenever they were worn for long periods of time (a few hours or more) they would begin to hurt my ears, but not the interior of it, but rather the exterior as it would be resting in a way that put pressure on a section of my ear. If it wouldn't have been for that, they would have been amazing, as their sound quality, active noise cancellation, and battery were amazing.

I have had 2 pairs of these as my wife stole the 1st from me cause she loved them! I use them for phone calls, music, reduce environmental distractions. the noise cancelling is top notch! I work with servers and it cuts 80%-90% of that noise and still be able to easily hear music and voices through them. 12/10 would recommend!

My First TWS IEMs as an Audiophile

Owned for 9 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Before my journey with these, I'd mainly use my Focal headphones at my desktop PC or my Campfire Audio IEMs when not at my desk, but with being driven crazy after all this time WFH and makeshift + shared office space, I knew I needed a TWS headphone w/ ANC. Fortunately for me, when I'd finally decided I was going to buy a pair, this model had debuted and I went in store and bought it at day 1 MSRP. It was and still is apparent that its technical capabilities, sound signature and other 'audiophile'-relevant attributes fall just a bit short of my regularly driven headphones on these many fronts. But, I realized given how much convenience was provided to me.. at $280, and at what is effectively minor losses on these various aspects, I was elated with my initial trial period. After several months, I'm still very happy with them, especially since how sublime its UX has been - seamlessly switching ANC to Ambient noise profiles, and simple, yet surprisingly robust Android companion application. The only issue is their terrible mic's call quality for voice on any platform, on any device. I'm clueless on how their ambient sound is even any good. I just make sure I'm at my desktop for any actual significant work meetings. As far as sound quality itself, I feel like there is definitely unit variation because I feel that my unit has been more balanced than headphones' YT or crinacle's written reviews have made it out to be, but for the rest of its attributes, I find that their described characteristics during their reviews have been quite spot on. The only thing is, from a view-point of these IEMs as an audiophile lifestyle product, they have been incredible. At this point, I even use them more than my actual 'audiophile' headphones, but I'd probably blame my work life balance for that, however, for any of my own friends & family, I'd say they are far more than good enough. I wish I could include an actual TWS comparison, especially since I also recently just acquired the acclaimed AKG N400 on sale for an insane $48. But I haven't gotten around to even opening them and I want my 25 BB reward pts now

Different sizes of earbud tips are supplied so that you can achieve the maximum effects of the earbuds. Ear canals vary in size from person to person, and can also vary in size from the left to the right sides. To keep the headphones from falling out, please select the right size earbud tips. We also recommend wearing the earbuds properly.
Gently pull up on the top of your ears, put the earbud tips in your ear canal, and then twist the earbuds into place. This makes sure the earbuds are firmly in the ear canal.
